“Short version: Peter is incredible, and you should hire him immediately. Longer version: We met him on a recommendation after another local landscape designer proved himself an utter disappointment. We have a cute little Craftsman cottage in Elmwood Village, and we wanted a native-heavy perennial garden with some entertainment space and a little spot for our puppy. Peter delivered, and then some! He effortlessly pairs practicality with a wonderful eye for design. The very first question he asked was, "How do you envision using this space?" From there, it was all about color, the level of maintenance we were comfortable with, what plants we loved (and didn't), what sort of hardscape materials we favored, etc. He heard every single thing that was important to us, and his plans reflected our priorities. He found unexpected ways to bring our vision to life and save some money along the way. But he didn't stop there... when he heard of our plans to install a small mural along our driveway, he found two local artists for us to consult. He gave us his best recommendation for a local contractor to handle the hardscape. And then he gave us names and tips for getting the best prices on plants from local growers.
