“I hired Great Oaks to design and install my landscape as soon as they renovated my neighbors property and it sold for 10% more then its asking price. They are so helpful and respectful. They took the time to educate me about what they were planning, installing, the process, and just about landscape architecture in general. I learned so much from them and they created a breathtaking outdoor living space which I use everyday. It made my house something I was proud to show off. I now have friends and family over because they turned my backyard into a entertaining living area which is simply beautiful and I can fit 3 times as many people as I used to be able too. I Never could have imagined a big landscaping company woud care so much about 1 individual homeowner but they really do. They still contact me to make sure it's still as perfect as the day it was installed.”

“I originally contacted Karleen Shafer to help me with a design for my small backyard, which was used for parking, and completely overgrown with weeds and concrete debris from a torn down garage. Knowing nothing about landscaping or planting, Karleen provided me with two designs and photos of plantings that would work well for an inexperienced gardner. She was attentive to my requirements: a space to park two cars, a patio for entertaining, space for a gas grill, something aesthetically pleasing, and plantings that would be easy for me to maintain. I was so happy with the final design that I also had Karleen and her crew do the installation. This was a late fall installation, and her crew worked around rainy and cold weather to complete the project. She and her crew were respectful and trustworthy. The final layout was beautiful - a flagstone patio for entertaining, a gravel pathway to the tool shed, and a variety of tall grasses, bushes and plants integrated with the hardscaping. I received tons of compliments from family, friends, and neighbors! It was a total transformation and I have enjoyed entertaining and maintaining it for several years now. Karleen stayed in touch after the installation, making sure to educate me on preparing for the cold months (e.g., cutting the grasses back) and what to do in the Spring. All-in-all, an excellent investment with an excellent company with a friendly, hands-on and committed group of landscape professionals! Would hire this company again in a heart beat! We met with 3 companies and after they submitted their proposals there was no question who to go with, we selected Shannon and the Superior Scape team, and would do it again (will do it again). Shannon listened to what we the non-experts were looking for and brought them to life in his proposal. He found ways to make our ideas look professional by creating lines that flow with surrounding landscape and adding design elements which we did not think of.
