Austin's design transformed a back yard with dirt, weeds, gravel and concrete under gnarled fruit trees into a beautiful, usable area with shady patios, lush plantings, and garden boxes. Austin's front yard design replaced white gravel and a wall of unkempt juniper bushes with an inviting path to the front door through a variety of blooming shrubs and succulents. At my request, Austin made sure the designs were low maintenance, drought-resistant, and featured plants that bloomed at different times throughout the year. Austin's designs doubled the usable space on my property, adding so much value. I now spend more time outside than inside!”

“We worked with Alan (Village Landscape Architecture) to help us with a large corner lot front yard after removing all of our lawn. We wanted drought tolerant plantings that would be a benefit to wildlife, but didn't know where to start. We asked Alan to deliver a plan, in the form of drawings, that we could implement ourselves. Alan was easy to communicate with and listened carefully to our parameters. Beyond recommending the placement and varieties of plants, Alan drew a plan that also incorporated an inviting addition to our walkway entrance. We loved his creative additions of hardscape which tied back to our love of Mother Nature's natural landscape. We still love the design today - 4 years later. Alan was easy to work with, a good listener, and provided the deliverable on time. I highly recommend him.”

“We had the pleasure of working with Ann on our butterfly garden. Her knowledge of pollinator plants and her ability to create swaths of color in a challenging hillside garden were phenomenal. Our butterfly garden is now a gorgeous meadow visited daily by colorful butterflies! Ann also designed a tropical Thai garden for one of the Botanical Garden's Flower Shows. Her design was simply lovely. Beautiful tropicals were arranged in a very zen-like design around a seating area evoking a calming and very comfortable garden retreat.”

“We had an old koi pond that started to leak badly. We contacted Brandon Delon at Left Side Landscape about re-doing our pond to make it larger and correct our leak problem. What a wonderful experience! Brandon is incredibly creative and practical at the same time. He designed a beautiful, stepped waterfall that leads into a greatly enlarged pond to accommodate our large koi that had outgrown our previous pond. His crew, Rico and David, were on time, hard working and very respectful of our property. We couldn't be happier with the final result.”

“Joe did an outstanding job with our front yard landscaping. His plants are guaranteed for a year and I only had to ask him to replace a couple, which he did promptly. We are very satisfied with his services, the design is beautiful, does not require too much tending and does not require too much watering. The hardscape with blue stone that he did was also really well done and he brought some large boulders to add to the design. When they were done with the project, they left everything clean. Couldn't be happier. Good job and well worth the money.”

She has designed three garden "remodels" for us -- two more natural gardens in St. Helena and one a very formal garden in San Francisco. All have been exquisite! We have since sold our San Francisco house, but the buyers told us the garden sold the house, and we were very pleased because i sold for well above asking price! Her latest large front yard and side yard remodel and received the "thumbs up" from passersby, our neighbors, friends and family. “We asked Giovanni, who is the founder of Terranuda, to redesign the entire side yard of our property. We had replaced the full length of a fence, and in the process, had removed most of an old hedge and other assorted plants. We wanted to completely re-do the design and feel of this part of our property. Giovanni's design is innovative, well-suited to the slope of the yard, and nicely accents our multiple deck structures. He was quite collaborative and listened to our ideas. He also acted as the project manager for installation. He ensured high quality implementation and met our deadline and budget.
