“We have a highly visible, steep hillside on the front of our property. Over the last few years we have had a minimum of four landscape companies either do a bit of work or give us estimates well above our budget. That was before we found Flourish Landscape & Interior Design. Michelle has been a refreshing change to the typical landscaper. She was most concerned with our needs and work well with our budget constraints. As we worked through various designs and concerns, she was genuine in her thoughtfulness and had a vast array of ideas to choose from. We especially liked the usage of native plants and nothing outlandish in keeping with the overall neighborhood appeal. As the project progressed, we were inspired to add more area to the original plan, as well as other features to help us maintain the plantings with minimal fuss. The team she pulled together for the actual installation was very easy to work with, even though we kept throwing twists and turns at them. They were all very professional. “My husband and I highly recommend Martha Wassermann for any landscape or hard scape design you may need. We have used her for several projects over 20 years, being lucky enough to retain her services when she has return to Virginia to visit family. One of those projects is featured on her website. This past January she completed a master plan for the lot adjacent to ours. We are expanding our own small backyard into that property and needed some off-street parking (important in our resort town), fencing, designated areas for trash and compost, to reposition a tool shed and an extensive garden redesign to unify the two properties. She solved problems we didn’t even know we had! Martha is a “people” person too and obviously loves what she does. As we have “over improved” our home, budget is always a concern. Martha’s prices have changed very little over the many years we have used her services. Her creative ideas have saved us a LOT of money, so her work has more than paid for itself.”
