“We engaged Curbs Studio in the fall of 2025 for a rather extensive landscape makeover of our property. Central to the project are several hardscape items. These include a beautiful stone walkway alongside the house from front-to-back, multiple new planting areas with rock borders, window boxes, full property irrigation, and a re-imagined dog play area with stunning rock work. The project also includes significant plantings — a few trees, many shrubs, and a large number of perennials (over 200 items). Every step of the process, from design through implementation, has been incredibly smooth and enjoyable. The Curbs team (Lucas, Bob, Nilton, Mason and Cassie) are highly professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and very responsive. It has been a great pleasure to work with them. If you want to transform your property to something special, we can’t recommend them enough!!”

“Used Bayberry to design and oversee construction of a large, architecturally distinctive pergola and fire table. The design they came up with was absolutely fantastic, all construction was done by qualified construction trades in a timely and tiptop manner, and we now have a backyard that is not just beautiful but also so much more functional and enjoyable. All this comes at a price, but in my opinion is well worth it. Cannot recommend them more highly”

“As a person who loves to be outside and enjoys all kinds of trees and flowers, I have spent a good bit of time, muscle, money, and emotional energy (will it take? will it bloom? can I keep the bunnies away? will it come back? is it getting enough/too much sun? water?) trying to create a beautiful yard. We finally realized that we could keep at it, hoping that it would all come together one day, or engage with someone who really knows what they're doing. We were thrilled to be connected to Carey Ezell who helped us think about a comprehensive plan for all parts of our yard. We focused just on plants and beds (no hardscape.) We were able to salvage some of the plants in our yard and Carey shifted bed sizes here and there, but having her fresh eye on what would work and what we liked made all the difference. We did eliminate an enormous patch of invasive weeds and replaced it with pea stones as it is in an area that is not used but borders the neighbor. We said goodbye to old and sickly plants that we loved at one point but were not doing much for the space. We also trucked out dry soil and brought in some fresh dirt in areas where plants had not been thriving previously. Carey is very knowledgeable, responsive, and professional, and her subs were incredibly hard-working and thorough. There were no surprises. We are very happy with the result!”
