My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

“Chelsea and Jill from Jilzart were incredibly easy to work with. We had a relatively small grass backyard that we wanted to make draught tolerant and more functional. Through the planning process Chelsea did a great job of incorporating our style and needs into the final proposal. She has a great eye for design, and was able to create two livable paces that are both functional and beautiful out of our old boring, rectangular grass yard that quite frankly we would never have thought of on our own. As impressed as we were with the design, we were even more impressed with Chelsea during the construction and installation phase. She has a great crew that did topnotch efficient work while keeping the worksite clean and tidy each night, which was much appreciated during this Spring's especially rainy season. Chelsea really excelled as a project manager, showing up every day to problem solve implementation details or make design tweaks to insure that the finished project met or exceeded the proposed plan and our expectations. We are absolutely thrilled with our new backyard, which now has a comfortable seating area around a fireplace and a dining and BBQ section both surrounded by beautiful draught tolerant plants and great lighting. I highly recommend Chelsea and Jilzart to anyone who is looking for a top quality, professional and talented landscape architect.”

“I hired June because I liked what I saw of her work on her website. I was taking my front lawn out to put in drought tolerant plants and succulents. June listened to my ideas then incorporated her own ideas into the plan. Her design of the hardscape was beautiful, something I hadn't even considered. I now have butterflies, hummingbirds and birds in my front yard, another bonus!”

“If you need a landscaper who can execute a project from concept to completion, Roy Altaras is your company. Our front yard needed total re-landscaping. We had Roy look at the backyard thinking we would do a second phase when we had some financial allowance but after his creative presentation, we just bit the bullet and did the front and back all together. He was able to work within our budget with compromises but not short cuts. Roy has a very strong sense of aesthetics. We name him the landscape “artist.” He knows his plants. He is very detailed oriented. He was always the first person on the job site every morning. He did the work himself on many days. His team cleaned up everyday. He kept every commitment and timeline. He’s a bit old school in that he doesn’t use CAD; he draws it out so the elevation views are a bit difficult to envision sometimes. But I’d rather pay for execution (more plants or hardware) rather than time consuming CADs. Could not be happier with the end product but also the process to get there. Another reviewer said it well - Roy will change how you interact with your outdoor yard.”
