“Shannon has a great creative approach and designed a round stone patio, chose excellent plants for a hill in a very awkward corner of my yard, and redesigned the entrance plantings at the entrance of our house in the old village of Chatham. She know her stuff on plants, availability of materials, maintenance, growing on the Cape, and staying within budget. Shannon listened to my thoughts and was able to execute on my ideas - even when I wasn't exactly sure about what I wanted. “Littlefield Landscapes designed and built a stone feature at our green B&B in 2011. The low curved wall, around a large expanse of myrtle, was perfect and echoed the wall the company also created to enlarge the parking space for our cottage. I was delighted with the result and asked for the company to tidy up the end of our property with a line of rose bushes and a fence. It looks terrific. When the neighbor started building a house nearby in 2015, I called Littlefield Landscapes back for a solution to shield us from the intruder. Laura suggested fast-growing evergreens. Then oversaw the planting. We are extremely pleased.”

“Dan Dewey runs his business in a very professional, hands-on manner. Every employee is a pleasure to have working on my property, and if I need to get a message to Dan, I can rely on Dan's people to see that he gets the message. At my home, we have been executing a multi-year plan to fill the beds with plants that are unusual, can with stand harsh Cape winters, and explode with color or interest through out the spring, summer, and fall. Her knowledge and vision simplified the process and she always gave us clear direction while considering our input. We were guided through regulatory requirements and specifics to the wildlife sanctuary we call home. She transformed a wooded lot into an oasis of lush plantings, intimate spaces and incorporated design elements to create a landscape that was truly ours. “As an artist in her earlier career, Julia Esteves, had a blank canvass when she first started to renovate my yard 15 years ago. After discussing my baseline stipulations (no straight or angular lines, no plant material that was typical of Cape Cod and a sequential symphony of seasonal color using bulbs, shrubs, perennials and evergreens), Julia has created a colorful oasis that has been showcased during several garden tours and a coffee table book. She also designed all of the hardscape beds and winding paths that eventually covered most of the property, Her staff also installed (and maintains) the irrigation system and routinely do all of the seasonal cleanup and tree/shrub pruning ...one company can and does do it all in an efficient, timely and professional manner.”
