“We contracted Garden Artisans to replace a deck we had built 38 years ago. We wanted to retain as much of the existing foundation as possible since the wood was still solid in some places. We also had a 10 x 12 foot metal gazebo that needed to be moved off and back on once the work was finished. We weren't in a rush, just wanted it completed before we opened the pool in April. They started late January pouring additional footings. Then the snow storms came and delayed work for about 3 weeks. Once the weather cleared they were able to work again and construction proceeded as expected. Their crew did an amazing job with providing a really solid foundation structure. We chose Timber Tech for the deck floor and railings and it came out absolutely beautiful. Pete and Dan were great to deal with and replied promptly to emails, texts and phone calls. They have really skilled crew members who were also great to deal with.”

“I've hired Dan for multiple projects and would gladly hire him again. Most recently, Dan designed my current residential garden. Covering about 3/4 acre, Dan created a plan that included the lap pool I craved, a casual style of multiple beds that speak to the 18-acre meadow my property is adjacent to, with an eye for four seasons of beauty that clearly demonstrate his expertise as a garden designer. My landscape includes lots of challenges, from drainage, to requests to block very specific views while also highlighting others, and was not especially straightforward. This garden has been through all seasons and I've been astonished at the birds that flock to my wintering grasses and perennials, the succession of flowering species and cutting species since I love fresh flowers indoor too. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Dan again for any future landscaping project, and will continue to recommend him to friends and neighbors who are looking for a thoughtful style in their garden while working with a consummate professional.”
