“My husband and I worked with Matt Horne from MTH Design Group on a pretty special backyard project, which had some challenging aspects including a large custom made pergola. Matt was exceptional to work with from beginning to end and our backyard is stunning. Matt is very knowledgeable and is an excellent communicator. He was easy to talk to and offered us guidance on design, plants, shade, water, maintanence, hard surfaces, raised gardens, lighting, gas fire pit, gas pizza oven, BBQ and a new watering system. I was very happy with Matt's invoicing system, it was easy to follow with no surprises. If something changed in the process or pricing, Matt let us know right away. All of the people who work with and for Matt have been easy to work with too. We started with a muddy mess after a sewer pipe collasped and we had to dig up the entire backyard. Matt turned a mess into a masterpiece that we are happy with every day, the final product is really beautiful. I have worked with other like-kind companies that did not perform or communicate as well as Matt did throughout and after our project was finished. “We completely ripped out and remodeled our backyard this year and we hired Phil and Shearon Design Collective to help us design everything. Not only did he do a perfect 3D model of what we designed originally, but he also gave feedback and improved on our original design significantly, then redesigned the 3D model. We’re so glad we hired him. Some things that he helped us decide to change were: - [ ] Overall layout of the pool - [ ] Height and thickness of the wall - [ ] Shape and radius of the rounded pillars - [ ] Placement of the scuppers/water feature - [ ] Layout of the pavers around the pool (he literally hand drew the pattern) - [ ] Placement of our pool fence - [ ] Placement of our cafe light polls and where the lights would fall - [ ] Placement of the gas line for our removable fire table - [ ] Layout of our front landscaping Check out some of the screenshots of the 3D Model he created.
