He has an outstanding sense of design, offering truly unique concepts that are refreshing and tasteful. 2. He knows what trees and plants to use not just for how they will look but also how they will react to site specific weather and soil conditions. 3. He worked with us to really understand what was wanted and then to our delight exceeded our expectations. 4. He respects a budget (you can always do more, spend more) finding innovative ways to get the best results for the buck. 5. He is a great listener and a thoughtful, considerate and humble person who doesn't let his prodigious talent turn into ego. And a bonus; if needed, he can design and fabricate supporting structures in wood, concrete or other material as part of the design process as he did for us.
