We hired Amy Martin to redesign the landscape of our newly purchased spec home. We worked together to develop a master plan that incorporated our ideas and more importantly her creativity. She then guided us through a phased implementation, material selection, and budgeting. Working with one of Amy’s preferred contractors allowed her to stay involved throughout the project, ensuring a smooth process (especially when design changes were needed in the field). From design to project management, she and her team were professional and efficient. The project was completed on time, on budget, and to a high standard. Amy’s ability to adjust the design as needed and value-engineer certain aspects helped us make informed investment decisions. We engaged Amy Martin to help us to overhaul the landscaping on our first "adult" house. We moved out of a small condo in Boston to a large (at least for us!) property in Cohasset and felt very overwhelmed by the prospect of having to figure out all of the landscaping upgrades that were needed, determine what changes to make and what aesthetic to adopt, engage the right professionals to do the work, etc. Enter Amy Martin. She made everything extremely easy for us. She listened to our high level thoughts and somehow managed to translate them into an actual, executable design. She brought in the right landscaping team and basically acted as a project manager to make sure that everything stayed on track and was completed in keeping with our vision. Any time that we had questions or concerns about things, Amy was quick to step in, translate our concerns for the landscaper and make sure that things kept moving in the right directions. When adjustments were needed, Amy did this quickly and gracefully. This was a large project - we took down giant trees, re-graded and re-seeded the lawn, knocked down and rebuilt a retaining wall, and overhauled a walkway and two entrance stoops. We absolutely could not have done this without Amy. For people with limited bandwidth and landscaping experience, she was a life saver. And now that the project is over, Amy's team is helping us with garden maintenance, seasonal arrangements and holiday lights. We couldn't ask for more!

We hired Amy this summer to help us with a landscaping plan needed for Permitting purposes. Amy was responsive to our extremely tight deadline. She met us both on site and also in her centrally located office. She had a really nice walled off garden area where she showed us plant samples. Amy is personable, really listens and was fun to work with. We’d highly recommend her.

We have been in our house for a while now, and were looking to improve the patchwork plantings I had done over the years. I had seen and appreciated Amy's work around town, and gave her a call. Amy provided us with a creative and cost friendly plan that has transformed our front yard. Her crew did an excellent job moving existing shrubs and planting new, and has been helping to maintain all of our plantings since. We have been working with Amy Martin since 2013, when she did a Master Plan for the coastal home we had just purchased. The existing landscape was overgrown and messy, and required updates to allow for a secure play area for our children. Amy spent a lot of time exploring our goals and needs, as well as the style we were hoping to achieve, before working out a plan that encompassed everything from proper grading and drainage, to retaining walls and extensive plantings. She and her contractors are competent working on larger projects and high end properties. She even proposed an updated front door entry and expanded deck, which we worked into a complete renovation of our house years later. We have invited her back to do further updates over the years, and feel her commitment to our landscape. Amy is a good listener, a creative designer and a reliable person. We also trust her continued involvement with our property through her fine garden maintenance services. Her team cares beautifully for our plantings and always keep an eye out for potential problems, responding to issues promptly. We still regularly get compliments on the gorgeous plantings and notice people getting out of their cars to take photos when its all in full bloom. We highly recommend Amy and her team.
