Antonelli Landscape Pool & Spa

I have finally had the time to sit, collect my thoughts, and write a review that I hope will bring Ellen Yerks and Antonelli Landscape hundreds of new customers. August 2023: I had the dream of cutting a walkout into my basement so I hired a gentleman to excavate my yard and cut holes into my foundation for the door to the basement and new egress well window. He proposed to build a walkout for me but after two months of waiting for him to do so, I was left with two giant piles of dirt in my yard, two holes in my foundation, grief and despair. October 2023: Ellen Yerks of Antonelli Landscape comes to my rescue. I had originally planned to have Ellen repair my damaged yard once the walkout was complete and in speaking to her one day, I told her that the guy I originally hired would not come and finish the job. Ellen told me that she could build the walkout and finish the job for me. I was speechless. I hired her immediately because I knew the end product was going to be absolutely breathtaking. I had previously hired Ellen, and Antonelli, in 2019 and 2021 to do my front and backyard landscapes and the intricate design she came up with was flawlessly executed by her crew; thus, I knew if she designed and built my walkout stairs, the end result was gong to be everything I hoped for and more. Ellen quickly assembly a crew, came up with a breathtaking design and Antonelli gave me the basement walkout stairs of my dreams in just a couple of weeks!!!! Ellen Yerks is giftted. She was born to be a Landscape Designer / Architect and Project Manager. I am blessed to have found Antonelli Landscape and you will be too. They will not disappoint you and the project quote they give you will be worth every penny. I promise. I will always use Antonelli Landscape and Ellen Yerks for my landscape design needs and I hope you do too. I hope business flourishes for Antonelli Landscape for many years to come.

Antonelli’s stone / hardscape work is excellent. From the design process to the on-site execution, the experience was great, their work was flawless. Our project was challenging; removing old rail road ties (three tiers) replacing them with a stone retaining wall and patio. The crew was hard working and quick to make “in field” adjustments. They were experienced and very skilled. The entire team was punctual, polite and a pleasure to work with. The job site, which included the neighborhood street, was incredibly tidy at all times. We are extremely happy we chose Antonelli to do our project!

Jim and his team are always helpful. The entire process was done with honesty and reliability. The crew worked with professionalism and were friendly. They do great work. They are reliable. You can expect a good job and Jim does what says he will do. He is easy to get a hold of and will address any concerns. They made sure everything looked exceptional before leaving each day! I was so impressed with how quickly this group got in and finished up our project. Really happy with our hardscape, retention wall, and landscape bed installation! Great design & execution and the quality/attention to detail was outstanding. We now have an outdoor space that we can utilize to create fantastic family memories for many years to come. So glad we made the decision to work with Antonelli!

Antonellis destroyed our yard, and now basement. They took on a large job for us, and while we were unhappy with the experience, it has now turned disastrous. The work they did on our sideyard took what was a marshy area and turned it into a complete flood zone. They’ve tried to address it, but frankly were incapable of taking on the project and have fixed nothing despite their attempts. I knew that the amount of water pooling on our property was a ticking time bomb, and my fears came to fruition when our previously bone dry basement flooded late this evening. Hundreds of thousands later and their gross incompetence has left us with now a ruined basement and 10s of thousands in repairs. Not to mention the thousands we’ll spend to redo their landscaping that destroyed the grading of the lawn and caused this in the first place. Needless to say, I absolutely do not recommend them and would avoid at all costs. I deeply regret using them, and wish I would’ve called it off at the first sign of the multiple red flags that plagued the project.

In springtime 2020 and during the beginning of the pandemic we contracted Antonelli Landscaping to landscape our backyard. Ellen Yert spent considerable time with us as we designed a combination of trees and shrubs to cover the perimeter of our fairly sizable backyard. No doubt there was a lot of commotion with the height of Covid last summer, which understandable cased some delays. However, when Jose and the crew did get to our project they were friendly, thorough and professional. As the project materialized we made several on the go changes. There is no doubt that these add-on's pushed the crew back in their scheduling but everyone was very accommodating. Over the winter several of the arbs and trees died or did not look healthy. As it was explained, the inventory from the previous year was quite sparse because of Covid. Jim Antonelli himself came to the house, inspected the yard and had a crew out within a few days to replace the dead or failing shrubs and even spruced up the mulch. I want to thank the Antonelli team for addressing our concerns in time for our sons graduation party and especially during their busiest times.

I highly recommend Jim and his team! Jim and his team are amazing to work with and we are so pleased with our project! They have excellent communication and will fix any issues that come your way. The end result is a beautiful oasis for you and your family to enjoy!

These guys are without a doubt at the Top of their game, if you really want that dream backyard look no further. For several years I looked for someone to take on my large scale landscaping project before finding Antonelli. I needed my entire 2 acre lot to be regraded, landscaped and transformed, to say the least it was overwhelming. We found them from all their great reviews and photos online, meet with them, were immediately impressed with their ideas and we bit the bullet. The design process was great and they were open and flexible on input, not much needed, they made it very easy. It did take a bit for them to get onsite due to the pool lead time and their other bookings, but when the did arrive, man these guys know how to work and stayed onsite until the job was done. They are perfectionist, they made every necessarily tweak along the way to make everything come together awesome, their attention to detail is why these guys are who they are and why the get the reviews they do. On a project this size everyone is worried about cost and scope creap, but not with these guys, they did what was needed to get the job done at the price that was quoted. I did ask to add a few things and they were extremely fair with the pricing. My family enjoyed our beautiful yard all summer and could not be happier, Thanks Jim and the whole Anotenlli Team!

We hired Antonelli Landscape for a large patio project and couldn’t be happier with the process and the end results. Jim was great to work with from the initial meeting throughout the entire design and construction process. He was even so kind as to allow me to visit his personal home so I could view some of the materials we selected used together on an actual project. He communicated with us and addressed any changes, concerns or details that came up quickly and efficiently at all times. We felt that he truly cared about our project and making sure every detail was perfect. Dago and the crew worked very hard and were a pleasure to have working at our home. They showed up early every day, worked late, and cleaned up the work site each night. They even took time one evening after a long, hot work day to play a quick soccer game with my son who they saw outside kicking the ball by himself. They also made sure to keep us informed and ask opinions on anything that came up while they were here which I appreciated. Our patio turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined and obviously their work speaks for itself! The workmanship and customer service are unmatched. They were really amazing in all aspects and we couldn’t recommend them more.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Jim and his team did the landscape for our pool this past summer. From the first time we met with Jim, he gave us the sense of total confidence in his trade. He answered all of our questions and assured us of his quality work. The difference between his company and others is that he was true to his word. We've had a lot of contract work done over the years and I've never come across a company who was so outstanding and exceeded our expectations until we found Antonelli Landscape. From creative designs to excellent communications to quality and quick work, they delivered on all fronts. Our project wasn't small, but they made it look easy. They said it would take 3 weeks - it only took them 2. His crew would show up at 7:30 a.m. and work until 5:30 p.m. They were fast, but more importantly, they were skilled and did quality work. At the end of each day, they would do a complete clean up on the job site. For the work that he outsourced to put in the sprinklers, sod and fence, those companies were also excellent. It was great having him oversee and coordinate the entire project. When small issues did come up, Jim was quick to address and fix them. We would recommend Antonelli Landscape in a heartbeat. You will get exactly what is promised and the finished project will be beyond what you hoped for. With Antonelli, you'll get honesty, integrity and quality and an outdoor space that you'll fall in love with.

We could not be more pleased with the beautiful job Antonelli's did on our front Landscape. From the first contact to completion of work, everything was done professionally. There is no other home in our subdivision that Landscaping that looks as good as ours. The crew goes above and beyond to clean up and restore everything before they leave. They power washed all of the surfaces as well as replaced any damaged sod. The only thing we had to do when they left was admire the craftsmanship. Antonelli's is true artistry. We will never use another company, Antonelli's is the best!!

We hired Antonelli Landscape to do a plan for a pool and deck for us. We loved how Jim sat with us planning our dream backyard. His knowledge and connections made decision making about what kind of pool, hardscape and landscaping process easy. Most other pool and landscaping companies didn’t have a plan, couldn’t tell us what the process was and when they could and finish. Antonelli designed a new outdoor living space as well as all new landscape to go with it and took care of it all. We used Sun and Fun pool were amazing to work with that Jim recommended. We had the 3 D rendering which was amazing and highly recommended. We knew what our finished space would look like before the backyard was even touched. The patio/ pool space had to be engineered to accommodate an existing sloping grade and water settling in backyard. Jim Antonelli outlined a plan, including a start date as well as a projected date of completion and then did everything he said he would do. His team always showed up on time and did not stop until it was finished. They did beautiful work and we receive compliments all the time and how fast it was completed. I have referred a number of people to Antonelli Landscape, but they don't need our endorsement. Their work speaks for itself. I intend to use this company in the future and neighbors will too. Antonelli did a phenomenal job on our patio. We will continue to recommend them to all of our family and friends!

Just over 4 years ago John and his team removed the existing front walkway, front porch and stairs from our home and replaced them with a beautiful mix of Unilock pavers, risers and treads. The job turned out better than we could have expected... and we had high expectations... John’s team was on time, polite, tidy and hardworking. They efficiently got things done... and the esthetics were outstanding. To this day, the steps look just as good as the day they were installed. First class work from a first class company. I strongly recommend John and his team. It will be tough to find better.

We originally selected Antonelli over other companies because his team developed the most creative design and efficient use of our space. Jim also was personally involved throughout the entire process and made us feel very comfortable about the very large project we had. While many companies are able to sell someone on the front end of things, the best part of working with Jim and his team was that they delivered! Everything Jim said would be done was done - it was done on time, it was done to our satisfaction and it was done within the budget that we agreed to, even though many obstacles presented themselves during the construction phase that nobody expected. My experience with John and Antonelli Landscape exceeded my expectations. John's design for our backyard was amazing and the virtual videos really allowed us to envision what our property would look like. The crew was very professional and was a pleasure to deal with when they were on site. My job was very large consisting of two patios and a 40 ft boulder wall. Everything that was done right and is built to last. There were a few changes that we made which John was able to accommodate; his customer service was the best we have experienced as he wanted to ensure we were happy with the job in the end. We received multiple estimates and are so happy we chose to work with Antonelli. We would recommend Antonelli Landscape to anyone who asked.

Can do good hardscaping but terrible at softscape. Also was very disengenious and walked out on the job even before work was complete saying that he was incapable of doing the work. Appears to be good for small projects less than $20k based on reference checks but can’t handle large projects.

My wife and I hired Antonelli Landscaping to design and build us a patio. John took us through the whole process. He designed the patio and executed the build. They did a great job from start to finish. Very professional and clean work. A friend recommended them to us, and we would also recommend them to anyone needing landscaping work done. I hired Antonelli Landscape to do a significant project at my home. This involved the removal of a deck and brick paver patio, as well as existing landscape. Antonelli designed a new outdoor living space as well as all new landscape to go with it. The new living space included a large and expanded brick paver patio to replace the deck and original patio, including an outdoor fireplace with hearth, a built in gas grill, and lighting. Antonelli Landscape did the landscape design for my home that was built last year. I have also used them at my prior home, which speaks volumes in itself. I took my lot plan to Their design center to look at my options were as far as brick & stone color etc. They came up with an original design for my home that me & more importantly, the mrs. loved. I was able to add, subtract and adjust the design throughout the entire process to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Being able to see the materials already laid out at their design center was also a huge bonus. I have received nothing but compliments from my neighbors, family and friends. We almost have a home away from home in the summer months as our landscape/patio has it all.

This is the second project that Antonelli's has done for us and we are so pleased with the results. John S. was great to work with and worked with us on the design. His crew was absolutely wonderful as well. They accommodated our requests as the work was in progress. We recommend them to anyone.

Any time you invest in construction work on your home, there is some concern as to what your result may be. I can personally tell you that the whole team from Jim Antonelli to every crew that came onto the project was incredible. I don't often give reviews because often I am not impressed with parts of the project. You will not be disappointed in quality, responsiveness and end result. They truly work the details and it shows in every way. Thank you to all! I will be happy to share my experience if you want a reference.

Great experience with this company. Me and my wife moved into a house a while back that needed some sprucing up and our project outside was one of the last on our check list. We received multiple quotes and talked to other companys. We met with Mick from Antonelli, and we were really comfortable by the time he left. He brought up potential things to focus on our project that we hadn't noticed and 2 companies before him did not mention as concerns. He really showed professionalism and seemed to really care about what would fit our lifestyle and children. After our last quote we decided to hire Antonelli landscaping. My family couldn't be happier with the completed project. We were promised a great foreman and crew he said he has been working with for a long time, and they were fantastic. Really great guys. The hard scape project was done on schedule and looks nice. Over half of the softscape plantings died by the end of the first summer. The salesperson Mick promised to replace them that never happened. We finally made a deal with them to cut us a check and we would replace the plants ourselves. The check finally arrived and both office manager Shelly and owner Jim Antonelli called to verify I received the check and make sure everything else was ok and that I was satisfied. I am giving them 3 stars only because it took a long time to resolve the issues. Their design and work were very good.

This was our second time working with John and the Antonelli crew... they never disappoint. We now have a beautiful back patio, complete with fire pit, wood box, and flower box. Their hard work and attention to detail, with great design and superior supplies all contribute to a beautiful finished product!

Before choosing a company to do our pavers, we did our homework and chose Antonelli Landscape. Best decision we've ever made! A year and a half ago, we hired them to do a patio, side walk-way, front walk-way, and front porch steps. They turned out absolutely beautiful! We were so please with their work that we had them do our pool last fall. The crew are some of the hardest working guys I've ever seen! Not only do they pay close attention to detail, but the pride they have in their work shows. Yes, pavers are more expensive than stamped concrete and exposed aggregate, but they're STUNNING! Every visitor and neighbor compliments them and want them too! If you choose Antonelli, you will not be sorry. They are worth every penny! Plus Mick, the designer is insanely talented and will address any concern you may have throughout the process. Jim Antonelli, the owner is very involved and definitely has a talent for attention to detail and hiring hard workers! I get the impression they chose quality or quantity as far as booking jobs. They don't over schedule or rush any job. They are also upfront and honest with you about when you'll be scheduled. Our first project was booked in May, but we had to wait until September. Obviously we were bummed, but they could've been like other contractors and promised us sooner only to keep pushing it back, but they didn't. They would rather be honest and lose a job than promise something they can't and end up with an unhappy customer. They actually care. It was worth the wait!!!!

We worked with John and his team at Antonelli for landscaping, sod, sprinklers and pavers for our new build in October 2016. John brought an incredible vision after listening to our (rough) thoughts on what we wanted. We had a great install experience as well, the crew was friendly, kept a clean site and completed work on schedule. We were very impressed and Antonelli will be our first call for any work in the future.

I completely recommend Antonelli Landscape for all your landscaping needs. This past summer he took on a huge backyard project for our family. The project included many areas that required coordination between contractors and attention to fine detail. These areas included: removal of old deck, coordinating pool installation/spill over hot tub, building a large brick paver patio with bar/grill area, pool coping and surrounding brick paver pool decking, large fire pit area with paver bench seating, construction of 13x13 covered structure with media installation, side door entry steps w/rod iron handrail, complete outdoor lighting package, installation of backyard aluminum fence, and completely finished softscape. Jim was reliable, professional, and took great care ensuring that every detail was just right. We recently had a brick paver patio installed by Antonelli Landscape and I was 100% satisfied with the work they did and how they handled everything on the project from start to finish. Since I live in an older home on the lake, there were a few surprises that came up along the way during the project and Jim and his team found great solutions and came up with even better ideas. While landscaping can be somewhat messy while it is going on, Jim's team cleaned up every night before they left the site which was very much appreciated. I would absolutely hire them again and I recommend them without any hesitation whatsoever.

They started the work as promised and finished an entire brick three level front porch in only a few days. They always cleaned up each day and showed up on time. I would highly recommend them for any landscaping work. It was an awrsome experience.

The Antonelli landscape company built us a beautiful patio and fireplace with sitting walls. They also added a raised window box below our picture window in our grate room. I had the pleasure of working with Antonelli Landscape on my pool/hardscape project this past summer. Everybody involved in this company was excellent to work with from the initial meeting all the way to the final walk-through following completion of the project. Jim and his staff made sure that all of my questions were answered before the project was started and any changes I wanted were made immediately. They provided us with multiple draw-ups of the project so that we were never left in the dark. His crew-chief, Manuel, and his entire team were punctual every day and never left a mess following a hard days work. Manuel would make sure to talk to me every morning to see if we were happy with the progress and if any changes needed to me made. If it wasn't for a few days of heavy rain the project would have been completed even earlier than estimated but was still completed on time and on budget. My wife and I could not be happier with the final results and Antonelli Landscape made it all possible.

Jim and his crew were great to work with. We obtained a few quotes from different companies and ultimately chose Antonelli because they listened to what we wanted, had the portfolio and reputation to make us feel confident about the quality of the work, and Jim worked with our budget to incorporate what we wanted to include and still fit the budget. They installed a beautiful hardscape including a two tier back patio, bar and pergola, and natural fire feature. We also had a whole yard softscape, sod and irrigation installed. Jim worked with us as we made color and detail decisions and was always willing to give input when needed. His crew was efficient and courteous and you could tell took pride in their work. We are in a new subdivision, and multiple neighbors have had different landscape crews performing work. Antonelli was the most efficient and we feel performed the best quality work. Mick and the team designed and installed an elegant two-tiered patio. They were very knowledgeable and patient with helping us put together various paver/wall/pillar styles, materials and colors. Execution of the project, once started, was done quickly and professionally (great crew to work with). Quality-wise all surfaces are level and plumb and mitered saw cuts were very well executed. We are very pleased with the project, the team, and would recommend Antonelli Landscape.

Jim and his team coordinated and implemented a complete overhaul of my back-yard from an ordinary plot of grass to a swimming pool area with a fire pit and a new deck, complete with landscaping. They did a phenomenal job and the quality was unbelievable.

Antonelli Landscape redesigned our pool and entire back yard. I could not have asked for a more professional and accommodating experience. We hired Antonelli Landscaping to build a dual fireplace and pizza oven. It was a unique project that required attention to detail and a good eye for design. They built it from the ground up ( no pre made boxes) and gave us a beautiful one of a kind fireplace with a working pizza oven that we have enjoyed very much. Their professionalism and staying on schedule with the project was greatly appreciated.

Antonelli did a fantastic job with my front-yard design and landscaping. John came out and talked to us about what we were looking for and wanted. Then he drew up a beautiful plan. We had our terrible looking, long front porch covered in a brick paver overlay. Then we had our original shrubs and plants removed and new, easy to maintain ones put in (which John had recommended). Also a brick boarded was added to really set it off. We received many compliments from our neighbors once it was done. Their customer service is first rate. The installers were very professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. They left the finished job with everything cleaned up, and they took pride in the work that they did. They completed the task in 5-days (it rained one of those days).

I had a portion of my front porch rebricked. i also had several broken bricks replaced. The entire bricked portion of my driveway and back porch was powerwashed, sanded, and resealed. GREAT job! I would do business with them again for sure!

We had a 3 level patio done with an outdoor kitchen and front walkway and porch. They were all incredibly polite and helpful every step of the way. We hired Antonelli Landscape to completely remodel our backyard after installing a pool this summer. We couldn't be happier, with their level of style, professionalism and punctuality. They transformed our ordinary backyard into our own private oasis.

Antonelli completed both backyard and front yard landscaping.
