Bloom Concrete & Landscape Design

Working with Micah and Lauren has been an amazing experience. From the design to the installation they have been so thoughtful and attentive to our needs as homeowners. Their work is exceptional. Their employees are proud of what they do as well. I will miss Bloom when they finish!

I hired Bloom to do my back patio, to redo my front porch, and to redo my driveway with stamped concrete around the edges. It looks beautiful, even three years later. I resealed the stamped concrete recently and it looks brand new. I couldn't be happier with the product and more pleased with the professionalism and the workmanship of both Micah and Lauren.

We hired Bloom to install a new patio in our backyard. They did an incredible job! Lauren was very helpful in helping us finalize our design and figure out what best fit our space. Micah and his team were extremely professional and thorough in their work. The job was done quickly, efficiently and with a terrific outcome. We are very impressed with their entire project and highly recommend Bloom to anyone needing concrete design and installation.

We used Bloom to design and install a new back patio (paver/concrete) and new front porch (concrete). The new hardscape is a definite improvement on the old, and I feel that we got a quality product. We appreciated the professionalism of the entire crew. Once demo started the construction was completed fairly quickly and smoothly (or, when there was a problem, they handled it quickly and painlessly, e.g. irrigation leaks). Lauren Bloom did an especially good job listening to our input and helping us make decisions when needed during the design phase. She was good at communicating the pros and cons of different options, and I felt confident trusting her vision even when I couldn't visualize the design myself (because she listened to my concerns and talked through them with me). The one con was not finding a paver material that matched the vision in my head, but at the same time I appreciated that Lauren was respectful of our budget and never tried to steer us to a product that we couldn't afford.

Lauren and Micah were a joy to work with. Lauren came in and took a plan we had started with another company and tweaked it based on things we wanted to incorporate and proposing changes to better fit our space and desire for minimal maintenance. They performed the work as scheduled and despite rain, kept working as much as the could to finish quickly. The entire team that came to our house was so nice to have on-site - they cleaned up at the end of every day which was so appreciated. They have stood by their work coming to check on and resolve a few things after the job was completed - things you would totally expect might come up and they were there to make sure any issues or possible issues were resolved. I was out the other day and had three different cars drive by saying how amazing our lawn and flowers looked and that the entire neighborhood enjoys having it to look at. We will definitely use Lauren and Micah and their team again for future needs.

Bloom Concrete & Landscape did some projects at my Washington Park, Denver home during 2013 - 2014. Micah repaired some damaged areas in my concrete driveway and also transformed my ordinary concrete patio by installing red rock stones on top of it! Lauren provided comprehensive design plans for new gardens in my front and back yards ... which were implemented in the summer. I am thrilled with the results that I was able to enjoy this summer. The concrete and stone work were completed quickly, everything was left neat and orderly ... Micah and his crew were pleasant and easy to work with. Lauren's landscape designs were easy to interpret and visualize (she provided photos of many plants) ... and the resulting implementation is stupendous! The quality of the plants is excellent, the details of soil, mulch, irrigation were handled professionally... the end result is just beautiful. Everything thrived this summer! I would recommend Lauren and Micah Bloom in a heartbeat!

Bloom Concrete created a new porch and a new lighted walkway with railings. After completion of the concrete project they landscaped my front yard as well as re-doing my sprinker breaks. They were very communicative of the timing and pricing. I'm so happy as my home looks completely refreshed and my neighbors are thrilled. The design reflects the style of my 1940 bungalow.

I found Lauren Bloom through Houzz and had her come out to help me with the landscaping for my new house in the Platte Park area of Denver. She is fantastic and fun to be around. Her ideas were fantastic and when it was complete the compliments from friends and neighbors continue non stop. Since I have a small yard and a big dog the new age artificial turf she suggested looks like the real thing. Many people say they really like my sod and when they get out on it they still can't figure out it is not real. The concrete pads, water feature and fire pit all are in the right place. Our project was a complete backyard design and installation. Included were the construction of a concrete patio, two block retaining walls, a side yard path, as well as the landscape design of plant selection and placement. In the design phase we found the company very willing to consider our concerns and wishes. The installation was completed as scheduled. Working with Lauren, Micah and their crew was a pleasure. We are very pleased with our backyard.

Lauren worked with us to provide a comprehensive backyard landscape plan including hardscapes, trees, and shrubs. Lauren provided several options based on a target budget we gave her. She continued to work with us and refine the plan to meet our needs and budget. We agreed on the final plan, which was then implemented by Bloom Concrete and Landscape. The end results were (and are) perfect! We would work with her again in a heartbeat and recommended her to our friends and neighbors!

Lauren is a pleasure to work with. She takes the time to listen and then adds her creative flair to the project. I really appreciated the fact that she took the time to create a large-scale plan, but wasn't reluctant to tweak it to match our budget constraints. Implementation for the two projects she oversaw was quick and very easy. The crews were pleasant. I have gotten many compliments on Lauren's work and would not hesitate to use Bloom in the future or recommend the company to others.
