I placed an expensive order for pool furniture with this company in early May. I was told it would arrive in 4-6 weeks. They didn't arrive at that time, and no one reached out to me to let me know that it would be delayed. I had to reach out to them to ask what was going on, and I was then told in June, that they would arrive in mid-July. Once again, mid-July rolls around, and no one reaches out to tell me the order has been delayed. I reach out again, and am told they won't ship til mid-August, but I'm not hopeful. Had I know that pool furniture ordered in the Spring, wouldn't arrive til Summer is nearly over (and who knows? it might arrive in the Fall), I would've ordered from another company. I do not recommend going with this company. They sell other company's products that can easily be purchased from more reliable suppliers.

I have know Elizabeth Pryzgoda sine 2000. She has always been creative and I watched her knowledge and inspiration grow with her first house in Tucson. Elizabeth is kind and thoughtful, she listens to clients and builds off their creative ideas. She is mindful of budget when she needs to be and has a great understanding of materials and plants. She is always up for a challenge. I highly recommend Boxhill!

Would definitely hire Elizabeth and again and have another garden project in mind for her. Very skilled at dealing with different preferences among her clients and finding a design and plan that works for all. Has a great sense of what fits a particular property and the look/feel you are going for. Worked very well with our current landscaping services, which made it so much easier. Our plants are still coming in, so we are not ready to show a photo but I would be glad to as they take hold. Bonus: fun to work with!

We wanted a modern, simple, clean-lined redesign for the frontyard but needed to work within the confines of HOA regulations and a large existing tree and boulder. We wanted large poured concrete pads for the walkway but did not know what size, proportions, etc. would work. We chose Elizabeth because, never having worked with a design professional before, we very much liked her website which included lots of information, a survery to take and multiple levels of design services. She knew immediately what we envisioned and set about completing the project with knowledge, energy and creativeness! She was a delight to work with and had a team of excellent and talented individuals. Our project included custom poured concrete pads, steel edging, pebble rocks, large custom steel planters and multiple groupings of single plant types. Elizabeth's modern design works perfectly for us. The whole process was fun, easy and so well done!!

Elizabeth designed and coordinated the construction of an Arizona outdoor living space in the prestigious golf community of Tucson Country Club. The project included smooth colored plaster finished masonry seating outdoor kitchen with appliances, TV, audio, lounging areas and bar seating area. Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with, and the project was a complete success.

Our tree care expert had worked with Elizabeth on several projects and recommended her to do a design plan for our oversized back yard in midtown. Our house was built in the 1950s and from the looks of it nothing had been done to the yard since the original landscape. The pool was nonfunctional, the plants were either overgrown or dead, and the hardscape was a patchwork of terribly outdated materials. The “design” didn’t make any sense for our lifestyle. It was a “total teardown.” We wanted an open, modern landscape to compliment the midcentury modern style of the house. We pictured a minimalist design but didn’t want the yard to look bare. We couldn’t imagine how Elizabeth could make the large space sophisticated and modern yet give it an intimate and welcoming feel. Her design was far beyond our expectations. She was very attentive to what we wanted and when we couldn’t describe it she encouraged us to give her pictures. She spent a lot of time listening to us then took our ideas, added her creative vision, and created an amazing outdoor space that we love being in. We have spent more time outdoors since Elizabeth’s design was completed than we did in the entire 10 years before that. Not only do we enjoy cooking out, soaking in the hot tub and entertaining family and friends but we savor evenings on the patio listening to music and the soothing sound of the water feature. We will definitely have Elizabeth do the design for our front yard and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to enhance their enjoyment of an outdoor space. Thank you Elizabeth!

Elizabeth and Boxhill Design came highly recommended to us, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Boxhill Designs’ principal and owner, is the very creative energetic Elizabeth Pry Montgomery. I attended her Tohono Chul Botanical Gardens’ workshops on available local resources and on Mexican design and found her to be organized, personable, and loaded with valuable information. Based on these experiences, we hired Elizabeth as a our “designer for a day,” one of many services she offers, to help us get started on several projects. Our projects: make the entry more inviting, add plants to pool area, ideas for outdoor shower. She asked for pictures of our landscape, a landscape plan if available, pictures of what we like using Houzz, and the points we wanted her to focus on. Elizabeth came prepared with ideas, books, and walked and talked our project areas for most of a morning. Using what we liked, Elizabeth suggested simplifying the dizzying array of plants and stuff, following an already started cactus/succulents look by the pool, and several ideas for the blank slate shower area. Later, we received a plants list and specific ideas for plant placement. She steered us to a mason to fix crumbling adobe, a local Mexican antiques dealer to help us restore an old door painting of a saint, as well as a specialized cactus nursery we were not aware of. Starting with Elizabeth, the value of services provided was wonderful. Each of these experts love what they do and thoroughly enjoy sharing their knowledge and skills and provide quality work. Elizabeth is able to adjust to our desires to do much of the landscape work ourselves and to offer ideas within our budget and personal tastes. Her expertise lies outside, but she no doubt could help with interior design as well.

Such a lovely, new online shop! I purchase almost exclusively online, and this store has fast become a favorite. I really like that this store is curated by an award-winning exterior/landscape designer--it makes me feel like I can't select the "wrong" product! :-) Also, I really like that the shop has depth and is not *only* products relevant to the outdoors. I found this shop as a fan of the Live Outside blog. The blog is awesome, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that they show me how to work individual products into the outdoor design. Conveniently, the products they feature in the blog are available in the store, so there's no cumbersome searching for me. This shop is new, but they keep adding new products every day, so it keeps me coming back to check on what just arrived. I've placed a few orders, and the customer service is very good--lots of personal touch and attention. I couldn't be happier with this new, online find!

Elizabeth amazed me when I first saw her ideas for remodleing one of my clients backyard. It was currently a large, neglected flat piece of sand and dirt - with over grown trees, old cement flower beds and 5 different types of hardscape. Elizabeth listened to all the owners needs and came back with a design that encompassed all of their needs and then some. Her idea for the owners dog run - was not just a plain old fence with a gate. She created an out door doggie wonder land. This portion of the yard resembled a true dog park. The owners were in awe. Her recommendations for plant choices, colors, products and vendors were always spot-on. The final product left the owners speechless. The neighbors jealous. But the best part, the backyard became one of the most photographed back yard I have ever seen.
