Chuck B Edwards Landscape Architecture & 3D

Chuck designed a complicated landscape theme for our cabin in McCall including a stone stairway to the lake and complimentary vegetation. He did three sets of preliminary drawings then fine tuned it into a 3D drawing that was incredible. We found Chuck's fees to be very reasonable and his work product was first class. He is great guy to work with.

Chuck is a pro. We felt like we had a fairly complicated project where we were completely redesigning our steps and landscape down to a beach at our lake cabin. There were a lot of elevations and existing trees involved. Chuck jumped on the project quickly and gave us options which proved his knowledge and expertise. He was very responsive anytime we had a question or wanted to do any tweaking. Although we have not actually done the project yet, we have all the drawings, including plantings, so that we can move forward. He made something that we were nervous about doing, seem uncomplicated and doable – we are now very excited to see the end result!

It was a real pleasure to work with Chuck on a plan for our landscape. He's quick, sticks to the agreed-upon schedule, and, above all else, he listens! We had some vague ideas about what we wanted, including some hardscape and construction for a new covered patio. Chuck listened to our input and came up with many more ideas than we had in mind. The multiple concept drawings really helped us rethink our overall plan. And guess what? Chuck came up with a fantastic and detailed plan that totally hit the spot for our first goal of a new patio area. But here's the best part: he also included some awesome ideas for the entire lot, giving us a cohesive and fresh new look. We're talking to construction and landscape contractors about the plan now. I can't wait to see the final result!

Chuck Edwards deserves 10 stars! We thought we could handle the landscape design for a 5-acre new build. After working with him, we realize how complex an elegant design suitable to a contemporary home really is. Our work with Chuck was "cradle to grave." We started with ideas, we walked the job site, he provided 3 options for us to consider. After choosing one option, he went to the next level with more details. Throughout all of this process, we were fully involved with the design, with Chuck providing PDFs of the design as it changed. We had several meetings, including one that included our builder (where we worked through retaining walls, proximity to the leach field, etc.). As we got closer to the final plan, Chuck provided a 3D of the house exterior. Then, the next to the Final!! A video and set of stills for the last tweaks. What a terrific way to really envision the plan! Our friends are in awe of it!! At last: a final plan with all details. Plant/tree lists, how-to's, exact location plans. Now, we can just hand things over to a landscaper to execute. If you want a great landscape, HIRE CHUCK EDWARDS!!!

Chuck was amazing to work with. He is also extremely talented and has an eye for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. We have a big yard and we were starting from scratch and his concepts he gave us were exactly what we were wanting but couldn’t put it all together ourselves. We loved, as far as plant choices go, that he took into consideration different heights, colors and textures to beautify the landscape. We are extremely happy with our design and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a professional to help design their yard.

Amazing landscape architect. The nice thing about Chuck is that he listens to your goals and desires and does an amazing job putting that into design. His 3D videos let you envision your design, and gives life to your project before you even break ground. We absolutely recommend Chuck for your landscape architect needs.

Chuck is really terrific to work with. He's sharp, get's the big picture very quickly and comes up with lovely design concepts from which it's easy to narrow down. He's also very responsive to thoughts/ideas and his final work package, including an amazing 3D video, is very thorough and informative.

I have really enjoyed working with Chuck on my backyard landscape design. After working with several different landscapers, he has been the only one who has taken my vision for what I've wanted and put it into something tangible so that I can get what I've hoped for in my backyard. He is super easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable and delivers high quality results. At first I thought that I had too small of a backyard to really utilize his skills but he came up with 3 amazing concepts that totally blew my mind.
