Dorian and the entire Colectivo team are a joy to work with! We had a "unique" project due to the strange elevation and shape of our backyard. Other companies did not want to spend the time to solve creatively for our space. We also live in a typical suburban home so I was concerned about overdoing it with a modern look that did not "fit" the feel of the house. Dorian took time to visit with my wife and me, listen to our needs / wants, and then created a plan for a beautiful space that ties in perfectly to our home. His plans were clear, the costs were clear, and we felt very cared for throughout the project. The finished product is absolutely amazing. I could never have imagined that our "typical" suburban space could be so transformed and look so modern and fresh. It's functional, it's usable, and it's turned our backyard into the perfect space for entertaining and enjoying time together as a family. Everyone we encountered with his crew was so nice and professional, and Dorian clearly laid out the financials so there were no surprises. He also made himself available and answered a ton of my questions throughout the project (this was my first time doing anything major like this, so I asked for a lot of clarification). Overall, I give my highest recommendation to Dorian and Colectivo Creative. I would absolutely hire him again and strongly recommend!!

Dorian and his team were wonderful to work with! Dorian was extremely communicative and patient as we went back and forth between design ideas. His creative input allowed us to create the backyard space we wanted, complete with a screened in porch, covered patio and concrete pavers. He was respectful of our budget and transparent about costs. The team was detail-oriented and always ensured we were happy with the outcome. We were so pleased with the quality and detail that midway through the project we decided to update our front yard as well. We will absolutely use them for future projects!

Dorian and his team are the best in the business in Austin! I gave him lots of input on what I wanted in our first meeting, then he came back with a design that was absolutely perfect. He completely nailed it on the first round! And he and his team did not disappoint in the build phase. His crew was at my house literally every day until the job was completed. I was very impressed with how organized and on top of every detail they were, and the quality of workmanship for all of his crew and subcontractors was top notch. My project included decking, concrete work, steel planters, a fire pit, an outdoor shower, irrigation, lighting, planting, etc., so pretty much anything and everything. Beyond that his rates are very competitive. I cannot recommend him highly enough! I am a real estate agent and am now referring him to all my clients.

Colectivo Creative is an excellent landscape design firm in Austin. Dorian took our inspiration photos and created a lovely backyard oasis to compliment our existing structures and materials as well as a modern, thoughtful and creative landscape design to add needed curb appeal to our mid-century home. We can't wait to start phase two with Colectivo Creative this Spring.

Dorian and his crew were great to work with. Dorian was able to immediately understand our style and what we wanted to accomplish. He came back with a design that exceeded our expectations. While the project took longer than we had originally anticipated, it was well worth the wait. We could not be happier with our new space. Even a few weeks after its completion, we still just stare at the beauty of the layout and finish. Although this was the smaller Phase I of a 2 phase project, Dorian and his crew delivered in a big way! I couldn't say anything nicer about Dorian, his wife, and the whole crew! In addition to their attention to detail, the crew spent 30-40 minutes at the end of each day cleaning up and removing anything that might've been a danger to our kids. We had a couple of change orders along the way, and not only did Dorian provide pricing on the fly, he managed to provide better options and opinions as well. Our project consisted of a front yard re-design, including an Ipe board walk to the front door with sitting area, raised steel planters, steel edging to contain hardscape, and new softscape throughout. Dorian and Colectivo Creative helped transform our outdoor space. We decided to use them after seeing what an amazing job they did on our friends outdoor project. We had a negative sloped backyard that was completely unusable. They helped tier the front and backyard while creating an amazing space for us to entertain. They also created drainage to move water away from the foundation. Colectivo Creative was very reasonable with their pricing and never felt like they we’re taking advantage of us. We are extremely happy with how everything turned out. Dorian and his team have been very responsive coming back out to take care of any loose ends after the project was completed. We will definitely use Colectivo Creative for our next project and already refer them to friends.

Colectivo Creative is the perfect one stop solution for any project. They completed a refresh of my front yard including a new fence, porch and landscaping. Dorian was a pleasure to work with from initial design conception to closing out the project. After an initial meeting to discuss the project and learn what design elements I liked the team created several alternatives. After narrowing in on the options they made a rendering so I could have a better sense of what the completed project would look like. They gave a detailed cost breakdown and worked with me to value engineer the project to keep it under budget. Colectivo Creative's construction team is amazing! I could not believe how fast they worked and still kept attention to detail. They are true professionals. Exceptional attention to detail, in both the design and build phase. Dorian was able to blend modern landscape elements with a more classic craftsman home, and the results are beautiful. He brought a strong design perspective and point of view, but also listened carefully to what we wanted to accomplish for the family -- and he nailed it. I bought a home last year and the landscape was in dire need of updating. The backyard had an old cedar deck that was falling apart and a sloping grade that made it dangerous and not at all appealing to hang out in. I contacted Colectivo and they came out and immediately had insight as to how to make the space more interesting and useful to us. We ended up replacing the old cedar deck with a stone patio (so much cleaner and less maintenance) and adding a steel pergola. We terraced the backyard to create a flat space and installed a wood burning fire pit. Now, we almost spend more time outside than inside, its like we added another room to our house! We had a great experience developing the design and the installation was seamless. The crew was fast, efficient, and very polite. Can’t wait to get started on the front yard next year!
