Creative Contour Landscape Design

Creative Contours delivered more than we expected, more than they promised, and they have followed up to make sure we are fully satisfied. They corrected and vastly improved some earlier landscaping by other professionals, installed a new patio and walkway, created new and expanded beds, and beautified our entire property. We are very happy with this outfit, from the owner to the crew. They are all very professional, and they know what they are doing. They showed up when they said they would, worked long, hard hours, and were very accommodating to our requests as the work proceeded. They were a pleasure to deal with, from start to finish (even though we have to continue resisting Jennifer's insistence that we move our clothesline; we think it is beautiful where it is!)

We met Jen and Kate at a home show in Hartford. We showed them a picture of a small empty area we wanted to fill as we were looking for ideas on what one plant would be good to grow there. Jen asked to come to our home and see for herself. As others mentioned, she walked the property with us taking pictures while enthusiastically visualizing what we could do to improve our yard. She really listened to our dreams. The work was just completed and as I told Jen, this is the yard I pictured we might have for the past 35 years, but were never able to create it. Thanks to the hard work from the Creative Contour crew, we now have beautiful gardens surrounding our entire home, a much needed driveway expansion, and in the back yard, a magical birch ‘forest’ surrounding a perfect fire pit. I have too many stories of the good times we have had working with Jen (the BL), Steve, Avi, Angel, & Calamar. They are all good listeners and so flexible and awesome! Thank you Dave & Linda Jackson

Jennifer provided a detailed and comprehensive consult with layouts and pictures of the landscaping upgrades. Steve and the crew executed the project in the three day time frame that was agreed upon and went above and beyond the contract to help us move our accent pieces of old farm equipment into the new landscape beds. The project involved removing all our existing perennials, shrubs, and landscaping stone, enlarging the areas around the house, adding new trees and shrubs and using the existing perennials we had to enhance and recreate the paradise we envisioned.

Jen and her team are amazing. I have now hired them for two landscaping projects - both incredible. They just finished a fence and gate installation. I can't tell you how many compliments I've already received. I think Creative Contour is your best option because the owner, Jen, will make anything happen for you. I needed a lot of help in making my yard beautiful, kid friendly, and easy to care for. She has done all of these things and more. She will do whatever it takes to make your yard stand out. Also, and I think this makes Creative Contour a model company, the team of men completing the project have worked for her for years. She treats them well, pays them well, and they do excellent work. I can't wait to have my next landscaping job designed and realized by Creative Contour!

Creative Contour went above and beyond and I would hire them without a second thought. I interviewed over 3 landscapers and she was the only person that provided me photo's of what she was envisioning to ensure it matched my vision. Her attention to detail and her level of enthusiasm was contagious. She and her workers showed up every day, on time and worked diligently throughout the whole day. Never did I feel that my questions were a distraction. Her workers got along well with each other and you saw the comradely as they worked throughout the day. Everyone had positive attitudes, pleasant dispositions and I really enjoyed working with them.

Jennifer is a topographic visionary. Our new home had the ugliest, most poorly designed, rotting and user-unfriendly patio imaginable. And it connected to a lopsided, unsightly warren of timbers, weird plants and overgrown monstrous shrubs. Jen turned it into an upper and lower patio that are elegant and usable for family gatherings and parties and we can use the lower patio as an extra parking space. This seamless visual is achieved by curving the patio into the driveway and tying it altogether with the pavers. Beautiful stonework, smartly placed steps and we now have easy access between garage and house and two beautiful patios. We were so pleased we redid the front walk and stoop also. Now I am counting the days for the beautiful Spring plantings.

Another amazing job by Jen and crew!!! Timely, creative, respectful and knowledgeable!! I enjoyed every moment of this partnership. Jen listened to my wants and came up with a plan that fit my budget! We have plans now for us to work together every year to add a bit more.

We've had a wonderful experience with Creative Contour! Jennifer provided an initial consultation where she was punctual, energetic and had lots of great ideas for ways in which we could overhaul the landscaping around our property. She demonstrated not only an extensive knowledge of plant species and landscape design but a clear passion and enthusiasm for her work. When it came time to starting our landscaping plan (the first stage being a demolition), Jennifer and her team were again punctual, professional and super efficient, doing everything we had planned in a single day and left the site neat and tidy. We were very happy with the results and our property feels so much more open and harmonious. Overall, we couldn't recommend Jennifer and Creative Contour highly enough and will definitely be hiring them back for the next stage in our landscaping.

Jen and Steve are so great! They are fast and efficient and very responsive. Their crew does amazing work and are very nice! We could not be more happy with the transformation our yard went through thanks to creative contour. We have a very large new patio, retaining wall, flower beds, grass, trees...just amazing! I would absolutely recommend them and will definitely use them for future projects!

We love the job Creative Contours did at our home. They took a tired, over grown pie e if property and gave it new life. The staff is very respectful....they cleaned up every ounce of mulch. We are so happy with the final product. We are sure anyone else will, too!
