Cynthia Burns Landscape Design

We hired Cindy to help with plant selections and layout for our home. She created a beautiful master plan that we are currently working on installing. We were looking for a Mediterranean modern aesthetic and modeled ours around a similar landscape she had done before that we loved. She was very attentive and thoughtful of our ideas and inspirations. In the end we had to make a few changes to her design but very excited to see the final results.

Cindy designed our landscape at our new home in Dove Mountain, AZ. The design is so beautiful that local landscape designers come by to see her work. The immediate visual from the street is striking, with a wonderful balance of trees, well-placed rocks, and color, which is so uncommon in the desert. It's a toss-up of whether our house or the landscape gets the most compliments.

Cynthia was a delight to work with. She was very patient and helped guide my wife and I through many iterations of design until we reached what we felt was perfect for us. She was always available and listened to our feedback throughout the entire process. Would hire Cynthia again as she has an excellent eye for design and materials while making certain our input was listened to and produced. We love our new garden space! Thank you!!

Cindy is AWESOME! She's helped us with two landscape design projects. The first was a big project that included hardscape and landscape details for a contemporary house near the beach. This project presented big challenges including removing and replacing large trees, terrible soil conditions and a cumbersome home owners association. Her design was sleek and creative AND she was able to incorporate our favorite plants. She listened carefully to our wishes and created an outdoor space we love! The second design was for a 1920s cottage. This design incorporated the owner's quirky sense of style and limited budget. Again, Cindy was a great listener and developed a plan to suit the historic home without breaking the budget.

We now have our dream yard! We couldn't have done it without Cindy's creative input, professional design capabilities, and coordination of all the various vendors. Professional and friendly! We look forward to a long relationship!

Cindy is excellent! She listened to our desires for our outdoor kitchen. We collaborated to find the best layout for the space. Her advice and suggestions were spot on. We worked with Cindy and her crew for a complete landscape design of a home we were remodeling. Cindy developed a lovely, contemporary design incorporating the plants we specifically asked for as well as plants that were new to us. This was a fairly large project with new gardens and hardscape in the front and back. Our new patio is spectacular and we spend much more time outside than we ever imagined we would! We encountered some unexpected complications - the drainage in the yard was problematic. Cindy called in vendors who could handle the issues and was able to improve the situation dramatically. Cindy is knowledgable, creative and enthusiastic. We really enjoyed working with her!!!

I can not say enough about the wonderful job that was done by this company-Cynthia Burns specifically. She worked with us form day one, taking all of our imputes and desires and mixed it with her knowledge and "magic" and made our yard the tropical oasis we dreamed it could be. Cynthia is nothing but professional -she is always able to find solutions to the inevitable problems that arise during a project. We are just so pleased. Our yard brings a little bit of joy every time we walk or drive up to it.

I hired Cindy to help fix an erosion problem and to update an overgrown yard. She knew exactly the right people to help with the erosion which is no longer a problem. Then we tackled the sod and landscaping. The results are amazing!! I couldn't be happier. I get many compliments from my neighbors with my favorite being that "it is beautiful and so tasteful done"!! Cindy is easy to work with and follows through to the end. I will call her in the future if there is anything else that needs to be done!!

Cindy was awesome to work with! She was very professional and attentive to detail and there were no hidden surprises. She took time to listen to my needs and set it out in a very organized proposal. In fact, my neighborhood ARB said it was one of the most well put together plans they had ever seen. She was able to implement the start of our project BEFORE expected, so we were able to have most of it finished before the holidays, which was my goal.
