I have discovered a unique landscape designer, Daniel, the owner of Dameron Designs. I am finishing an entire house design upgrade to an Italian Tuscan theme. The back yard overlooks a beautiful lake frontage and the large patio area uses only authentic materials of a beamed cedar ceiling, limestone water feature and hand made terra cotta floor tile. While I knew what kind of ‘feel’ I was looking for, I know nothing about landscaping or proper garden maintenance. Daniel was able to take my various thoughts and create a perfect environment. As I would expect, he has all of the technical skills to appropriately incorporate factors from light and water requirements, protection from hurricane force winds to soil samples and additives. But, what sets Daniel apart is his ability to consider issues and opportunities that would never have occurred to me. He was able to suggest multiple choices of authentic Tuscan themed plants that I had never heard of, all of which all Florida Friendly. The row of 30’ cypress trees forming a privacy screen at the property line are stepped down in tiers of different heights of plants and hedges to integrate into the rest of the landscape design. Aromatic flowering bushes are spec located so that their fragrance is carried across the entire patio area on the prevailing breeze. Working with Daniel has not only been a pleasure but I can’t think of another way I could have realized the vision for my home any other way. Not only has he performed all of the design work to achieve a Homeowner Association approved design but he will manage the contract bidding for both installation and ongoing maintenance as well as oversee the installation of the landscaping itself, truly a complete solution. Dameron Designs did a great job on the design for my property. I had a bunch of specific asks for my small house, large yard with a pool on the water. He met them all! We are just about done with the project and it looks beautiful. The corner of the pool deck was softened with a beautiful Sylvester Palm and retaining wall. The plan maintained the view of the water but added softness to the overall lot by strategically planting different palms, banana and small flowering plants. We have beautiful flowering plants/trees that attract butterflies. He chose low maintenance plants as we requested. We are very happy. Daniel also went the extra few miles to work with my 80-year Mother to make sure she was happy with the speed of the project once the plans were finally done. Daniel loves what he does which is evident by his enthusiasm.

Dan is a knowledgeable professional who made a huge project for our church manageable in the short and long run. We recommend him to every business who needs a total redesign of their frontage.

Dan did our first landscape design and it was absolutely beautiful!! We have enjoyed watching our plants and trees mature. We naturally had to have him back to design two new gardens. The design plans are outstanding and we can hardly wait to start putting the plans into reality with a beautiful new garden. Thanks Dan!!!!

Daniel did an excellent job designing our backyard landscape taking into consideration all of our wishes. His detail design was fantastic, listing all the plantings & sizes. He also gave us some suggestions on installers. We interviewed two of them and hired the one that we felt most comfortable with. They just completed the project last week and we couldn't be more satisfied.

As chairperson of our HOA Landscape Committee I worked closely with Dan Dameron of Dameron Designs on the renovation of our Clubhouse area landscaping where we needed to provide a memorable first impression. We were particularly interested in a Florida Friendly landscape with a tropical look and lots of color. My committee and I conducted much on line research, visited several landscaped locations and held in depth personal interviews before recommending Dameron Designs to our HOA. Once hired, Mr. Dameron spent several hours with us walking the area, discussing our plant options, and giving ideas to enhance the landscaping. We were impressed with his enthusiasm and passion for his work and came out of each meeting feeling energized and excited about the upcoming project. After the final landscape design had been approved Dan furnished very professional and detailed design copies for the landscape installation. After filling out the questionnaire on Dan's website, he drew up a wonderful landscape plan that fit our site. We were very impressed with his timeliness and ability to work with chosen contractors especially since we were in Vermont. We highly recommend Dan's expertise.

Dan designed a landscape and irrigation plan for the customer and handled the bidding process with the contractors. I found him to be very helpful to both the customer and my firm in determining what the customer wanted and providing this as a scope of work for bidding and contracting the job. Many times, I find customers unsure of what is the proper plant material or irrigation to sustain the material and they go with the best salesman or cheapest price believing all are created equal. With the professional eye of Dameron Designs, he handles this process to sort out the materials and ensure the customer gets what they pay for. I found his design to be extremely accurate and the few minor adjustments in the field was made with his approval for the betterment of the project.
