Del Conte’s Landscaping

We have been fortunate to have used Del Conte Landscaping twice: Once for complete front and backyard demolition, gorgeous rock wall construction along with beautiful landscaping, and once to demo and build a thoughtfully designed deck with flower boxes and fire pit area. Everything is professionally handled with DVL and nothing was done without our understanding and approval. The team is unusually accessible and pleasant to deal with from beginning to end. We marvel at the craftsmanship, skill and attention to detail in every aspect of the work. Michelle (our designer and project manager) makes us feel as though we are her only client and aims to please in every way, as do all the other DCL team members. We recommend them heartily and without any hesitation. Our only regret is that we have no more projects to work on with them. It has been a pleasure and we are thrilled with the results.

Del Conte's Landscaping managed out large landscaping project in 2018-2019. They were both on time and also on budget. From start to finish our experience with Michelle Planessi was impeccable. Communication was always her first concern, constantly checking in with any revisions and often on site. Michelle is very personable, and always made us a priority, she is an absolute pleasure to work with. Our finished project is beautiful, we could not be happier. Del Conte did a beautiful job with the re-landscaping of our front and back yards. They executed the design perfectly and finished on schedule. From installing a huge tree to building out an entire outdoor kitchen, there was nothing they couldn't handle. They have also been helpful and responsive to me as questions about irrigation, etc. have come up after the job was done.

We worked with Del Conte's for a total re-landscaping of our front, back, and side yards, and had a great experience from start to finish. Michelle was super helpful in the design phase, creating multiple options and working patiently through my many revisions to get to a result we were very happy with and could afford. Once we had a permit, the installation took about 7 weeks. The crew was friendly and professional, made substantial progress every day, and did all of the work (demo, concrete, pergola, stone, pavers, irrigation, edging, plants, sod, etc., etc.) themselves, which was really impressive because they were good at all of it. The attention to detail was superb & we are very satisfied with the end result.

We found Del Conte after a bad experience with a previous contractor. We did a thorough screening and reference check process and were so happy to have Del Conte as our contractor. Michelle Planessi is a designer plus project manager. If anything requires adjustment after the job has started (which can happen - especially based on the complexity of the project), Michelle can help to adjust and provide other options for the design keeping in mind the budget. Overall, Del Conte is a very professional and trustworthy company. You can be sure that they will get the job done with highest quality and aligning with budget considerations. They did a complex job for us - including landscaping on a hillside, a large pergola, a very large IPE deck, an in-ground hot tub and deck (including irrigation and drainage, they also brought in their subs to do electrical and gas work - we had a fire pit and NG heaters). This required a high level of craftsmanship and knowledge. They have the expertise and the tools to get the job done. The foreman - Eduardo was great, as well as his crew. We were very happy with the project and now we really get to enjoy our extended outdoor living space. We highly recommend Del Conte if you are looking for a trusted advisor and contractor who knows how to manage a project end to end (including permitting), and deliver quality results.

Del Conte's did a beautiful job on our front and back yards. We had a somewhat complex vision of a putting green, fountain, outdoor kitchen and firepit plus landscaping to incorporate. They were very detail-oriented and were fabulous problem-solvers when certain things had to be changed. The crew were reliable, trustworthy and orderly. They presented us with a binder full of the products and plants used so that it is a helpful resource going forward. I have recommended them to many friends and would use them again in a heartbeat. Michelle, our project manager, kept everything humming along and was a pleasure to work with as well.

I've done two major projects with Del Conte's and will certainly use them for any projects I have in the future. (one back yard and one front yard). Both were large and complex. They are incredibly professional with great communication and planning. Everything was done on schedule, with perfect quality and attention to detail. They work very well with the city on permits and approvals. Every communication is prompt and effective. Our projects included drainage, complex hardscape, stairs, retaining walls, tile, lighting, outdoor audio, drip irrigation, driveway, fencing, automatic gates, complete landscaping, shrubs, trees, grass, artificial turf, etc... They nailed every aspect of the job. Everyone on their crews are professionals from the foreman on down. On the job at 7am sharp and everyone is an expert at their trade. They are one of the best contractors I've ever worked with (of any kind). I love businesses that deliver so well for their customers, so I had to write this review.

We hired Del Conte's landscaping for a complete redo of our back yard and front yard. Michelle was a pleasure to work with and her crew was very professional and completed the work in the specified time. The work involved ripping out all of the grass and the bushes near the house and in the back yard. The planting material they selected was healthy and beautiful. We also had them rip out some concrete and install stone pathways in their place. The irrigation system they installed a very efficient drip system. We were extremely happy with the job they did, we highly recommend them.

When we first met with Michelle Planessi, we were impressed right away by her knowledge and creative ideas to completely redo our front yard and backyard. She put together a comprehensive landscaping plan and advised us on the type of materials to use for our front porch, pathway, driveway, patio, fire pit and BBQ island. Michelle selected plants and flowers that are beautiful, drought resistant and that attract hummingbirds and butterflies. She is a talented designer and a pleasure to work with. The whole Del Conte's Landscaping crew was very courteous and professional. We are very happy with the end result of our landscaping project by Del Conte and enjoy every day our new front yard and backyard.

I am very pleased with Del Conte. They are diligent and responsive. Their crews are professional and detail oriented. They communicate well and the supervisor, Ricardo, is stellar. They are on time and on budget (amazing in this industry!) I have truly enjoyed their professionalism on this project.
