Denchfield Landscaping, Inc. is a full service design/build landscaping company located in Hyattsville, MD. We serve the entire Washington, D.C. region to find creative landscape solutions for residential, commercial, municipal and non-profit project. Our project have been featured on Extreme Makeover, HGTV and DIY home and garden shows. As a design/build company, we manage your project from the very first consultation through installation and long-term maintenance. We work closely with our clients to develop a plan that is both practical; as well as, beautiful, to be tailored to your individual lifestyle needs. Being a family owned company for over 25 years, we are small enough to give you the personal attention you need, but with over 10 crews, we easily manage multiple large scale construction projects.

Used Denchfield for some work we needed around the house. From plant installation to ongoing maintenance to design work to snow removal. Not once I have a bad thing to say about them. They are very timely in sending quotes and getting our jobs done all the time. They are also very flexible in dealing with our budget. Denchfield's most recent project for us was designing a waterfall and pond for us that turned out magnificent. I am truly pleased with their work and will continue to use them for a variety of projects in the future.

I have used Denchfield for an array of services from plant installation, to ongoing maintenance, design work and snow removal. Not once have I been upset or become frustrated in dealing with Denchfield. They are very timely in sending quotes for work and flexible when it comes to dealing with one’s budget. Denchfield’s most recent project for me was a design for a waterfall and pond that turned out magnificent. I have been truly pleased with their work and will continue to support their business and recommend them highly to anyone looking for landscaping work.

Denchfield had perfomed grounds maintenance for me for two full seasons. The second season, they became very neglectful of the yard. I constantly had to keep after them to do work that was promised. Sometimes the work was skipped. At the end of the season I had to part ways with them when they billed me (a lot) for work that I did not ask them to perform, and some of these issues are still in dispute. When it came time to perform major landscaping and hardscaping on the yard, I decided not to use them.

My wife and I decided to Contact Denchfield after being highly recommended by a neighbor. We recently purchased our house, and were in need of comprehensive drainage and waterproofing solutions. They were able to put an end to all of the water coming into our basement & to the standing water in our backyard. (I wish our home inspector would have picked up on these problems before we purchased the home). Cannot thank Denchfield enough for their work!

Denchfield Landscaping created an outdoor oasis for us. They did both the landscape and hardscape. The owner Kurt Denchfield worked as our project manager and took care of coordination with the various contractors we used. It was a really wet spring for us and even with all of our weather setbacks they made sure to have the project completed by the due date. Our outdoor area includes a 20x50 saline pool, hot tub, waterfall, outdoor shed, generator, outdoor lighting, foundation for pool house and landscape.
