Design Exteriors has a culture of professionalism and care, starting from the top (Cedric) to everyone who worked on our project. Cedric is an artist who expects his projects to look beautiful for both his customers and his own standards. I watched him instruct his team to redo two parts of our patio, put his fingers to his lips and blow, and explain it had to look perfect. This professionalism was visible in his staff (both Marks) and all the guys who did the work. They set timeline expectations and met them. I was also appreciative that Cedric was sensitive to our budget. He’d happily build you the Taj Mahal, but was flexible to more creative, affordable solutions. Picking a contractor is a leap of faith that things will be done right. I’d highly recommend the team at Design Exteriors and will be enjoying our patio for years.

What a great experience! Sonny was so easy to work with. He was creative, kind and flexible. We came into the project knowing exactly what we wanted, then turned around and changed what we wanted . Sonny did not miss a beat. He helped us to find the perfect design that covered all of our needs within our budget. Once the project began, Abby kept us organized. She was quick to communicate with us through emails and phone calls. She made sure to get all of our questions answered and relayed information to Sonny and the construction team. And speaking of the construction team...the team was professional, helpful and solved many problems with me right in the moment. In our final walk-through, there were a few clean-up items that did take some time to get back to, but once completed, our yard was immaculate. The work was well done by all of the crews, with only minor items found. I would highly recommend Design Exteriors for your full landscape project. We had grading, hardscape, construction, sprinkler layout and repair, plantings and more. I will use them again for the front yard!

I chose Design Exteriors and Sonny much in the same way you are now searching - an internet search. It was my true good fortune that I was drawn to the photos of work done by Design Exteriors. Sonny spent time with me learning my thoughts on what I wanted in a new patio. He was attentive to my needs. He also gently guided me to a far better plan than I envisioned - his expertise helped me appreciate good design. The team was terrific in the way they built my patio. Professional in every respect and a great attention to detail in both the construction and planting of landscaping. The proof is in the final product. I have three patios and the work done by Design Exteriors has now become the favorite of my guests. Everyone gravitates to the new patio instead of the other two. When it is just me, I luxuriate in the peaceful setting as enjoy the firepit and fountain.

We recently hired Design Exteriors for an overhaul of our backyard. Our budget was smaller than what might be ideal for a project the size of ours, and we were very impressed with Sonny in his willingness to work with us, make edits and adjustments to the project to save money and meet our goals, and his realistic approach. Sonny guided us in setting up our plans to maximize this year's budget and give us a beautiful, functional yard, while also helping us think ahead and ensuring that we'll be able to add to it in the future. The crews were great to work with and the quality was excellent. Communication was quick and thorough. I'd highly recommend them!

We had an excellent experience working with Sonny, Enrique and crew, and Abby from Design Exteriors. They are an extremely professional team that communicates in a clear and timely manner throughout all stages of the project. Sonny was accurate with the budget predictions and responsive and timely with completing our project. We love the design that Sonny created and are very happy with our new front yard! We plan on working with them again when we are ready for the backyard!

Sonny was very pleasant to work with. He was present and patient with our questions, process, decision making, and helpful in identifying needs and vision for our landscape. I was impressed with his willingness to forgo the plans (if we wanted) when we were ambivalent about moving into action (the night before transformation on our yard was to begin). His vision for design and knowledge with the materials (plants, labor, water-wise planning, skills to work with people and coordinate so many factors) was superb! Sonny, also, was very responsive to questions and needs that arose in the process. We really enjoy our restful space that is a HUGE burden off our back as our yard is enjoyable, much easier to maintain, and is saving our fence from further water damage. The men who worked for him directly were great to work with and were respectful and very helpful: considerate of us, our property, and our kids; empowering us with what to consider in our choices; and helpful in how to maintain things on our own. Sonny developed a very creative design for a difficult space, and the result was well above our expectations. He is very experienced in design and installation and has a great crew. The quality of the work is excellent.

We contacted Exterior Designs while looking on Angie's list for a painter. When contacted Sonny we learned that he didn't do the kind of work we were looking for. However, we were so impressed with him that when we decided to re landscape our back yard, we contacted him. We thoroughly enjoyed working with him throughout the process. He and his crew are easy to work with, dedicated to excellence, and considerate. They began the project when promised, stayed with it until it was completed, and minimized the disruption to our family. My wife and I highly recommend Sonny and his firm and will use them again, without reservation, should the need arise.

Design Exteriors was VERY responsive to our inquiry, came out quickly for an estimate, communicated their time frame and appointment changes because of weather quickly and did excellent work. They fixed our chimney, repaired our stone front steps and repaired some brick work on our house. The employees were professional, cleaned up and did quality repair work. I would highly recommend them for any job.
