We recently worked with Earth Element Designs to create a plan for our dream backyard, as well as a redesign of our front yard. Jack was very pleasant to work with from start to finish. He did an excellent job of articulating our general vision: a yard that we could easily spend more time in. We told him we wanted a dedicated vegetable garden, an area that was kid friendly / play friendly, a lounge area, dining / kitchen area, shade, lighting, new patio, and replace existing landscape with one that's low-maintenance and drought-tolerant. We also wanted all of this within a particular budget. He gave us a design that made all of this work -- beautifully, in the style that we liked and within budget! His design also included an update of our front yard, which we originally planned to renovate in a separate stage but his design made it so that we could also redo our front yard within the budget of our backyard. After we agreed on the final design, Jack recommended an excellent landscape company to bring this vision to life. We ended up going with his recommendation and are beyond happy with the results. Jack stayed involved past the design stage to help ensure our project turned out how we wanted. He was also available whenever we had questions ranging from whether we should get rebar to reinforce our patio concrete, to what mulch we should choose, to what's the typical cost of building a raised bed. It's been four months since our remodel was completed and we are loving our yard more each day. We've spent more time in our yard these last four months than we have in the years living here before our remodel. We highly recommend Earth Element Designs for anyone looking to give their yard a new look and function!

Jack from Earth Elements Designs was recommended to us by our landscaping company that we hired to do a big project for us. To say it was a big job is an understatement! Front and back yard from demolition to completion, took 9 months. I have to say for the first time in our lives we feel that we didn't make any mistakes, thanks to Jack and his immaculate plans. Every detail of the project was drawn out to perfection (lights, plants, trees, rocks, bark, outdoor kitchen design, etc.) and with great ingenuity and creativity. Jack was here for us every step of the way, including plant selection, purchase, delivery and placement to make sure all went as he had planned. He checked in on the job frequently especially prior to any big steps such as concrete pours etc. Our yard looks beautiful, and we definitely would have made many mistakes without hiring a professional like Earth Element Designs. I highly recommend.

Professional, responsive and designed a very nice space front and back while keeping our needs in mind. Unfortunately we had to put our project on hold but hoping to move forward at some point in the near future. Overall very happy we chose Earth Element Designs!

Jack and Earth Element designed a wonderful backyard for my wife and I! Even with a sloped backyard, Jack was immediately able to understand our vision for the space and had ideas on how to create a space we loved. Jack gave a consultation and design plan for different areas of my yard. He was detailed orientated and provided options based on how much I wanted to spend. He was respectful of my budget and provided a great service.

Earth Elements was recommended to me as one of several landscape designers for the creation of a design for our home. Because we felt the project would be fairly costly we decided to interview a few contractors to see who would be the best fit. After explaining our vision, we decided that Earth Element Designs would be the best fit. The outcome, after several revisions, became the template for what would be a journey to creating our family and guest friendly landscape.

After interviewing several landscape designers we chose Jack. He was sure of himself and had a clear vision of the way our space could be utilized and beautified. He was easy to communicate with, and knowledgeable about materials, plants, and construction methods. He listened to and addressed our requirements and concerns and stuck with us throughout the entire project including visiting multiple times throughout the construction to make sure the yards turned out the best way possible. We LOVE our yards now!

Jack is fantastic! My wife and I hired him to create a new design for our side yard that incorporated drought-tolerant landscaping, edible plants, and features such as a waterfall area, BBQ area, fire pit, and hot tub. This was no easy feat as the area is not very large. Jack rose to the occasion and came up with an excellent design that was a perfect mix of his ideas and our preferences. He was very friendly and communicative throughout the process, and even came back multiple times during construction to ensure the end result was as we envisioned. We have been enjoying the outdoor space ever since!
