Never having worked with a landscape architect, I did not know what to expect but I knew I needed a trained professional to create a master plan before I started ad hoc. I had some challenges with new construction on a 2.7 acre wooded area that included drainage, irrigation, grading and esthetics while trying to save existing trees. I also wanted a natural look. Falon listened to my thoughts and developed a fantastic design that delivered the "natural" look that I had in my mind. I was extremely impressed with her pre-design work and thorough assessment of drainage and design options before starting the design work. She has been very helpful throughout the process and is very responsive to questions and requests. It is obvious that she really enjoys her work and pays great attention to detail.

We felt pretty lost at the start of planning new landscaping for the front yard, but Falon came up with just the right plants and a beautiful design. She is knowledgable, creative, and quick to respond to messages. I highly recommend Falon Land Design, she is a delight to work with.

Worked with Falon on a number of projects - both consulting and design/build - while she was here in the Chicago area. They turned out real good and the clients were very happy with the service and the installed project. She is very pleasant to work with and was always available for on-site consults and/or project management. It was rather sad to see her leave for the warmer weather of the south.
