We have the nicest front yard on the block. Magical. Passers by comment on it daily. It's also drought-friendly - but you wouldn't know (even in the summer) because it's so lush. Alicia is a true artist! We started the project three years ago - and we invite her back for more regularly.

Alicia is a creative artist with landscaping, and a relationship builder as a business person. Her crew, with Ramon, as supervisor, are talented, dedicated to high quality work, and attentive to detail. She transformed our front yard into a beautiful garden with a flow and unity, yet also distinct sections. For two months now, she has revisited the work, making revisions, modifications, and improvements as we have seen conditions play out. Some on her own initiative, some at our request, all at no extra cost, no less. The original cost was very substantial, yes, but worth every dollar. The lighting she designed makes a whole nighttime garden in itself. She's a gift to her clients.

Alicia took our yard from ho hum to magical! She’s a great listener and really understood our needs and style. Alicia and her crew go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need done. She worked with our gardener to make sure plants were trimmed to look their best. My favorite compliment is our neighbor saying our yard looks like Descanso gardens! Alicia made our back yard into a special space to entertain, relax and enjoy.

It's been a pleasure to know and work with Alicia at Firmly Planted on my landscaping project. She is very professional, knowledgeable and passionate about her craft. Alicia was very responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with. She went with us to the nursery and gave good advice on the types of plants to select. When a few plants didn't do well, she followed up and replaced them and worked with us to make sure all of the plants were doing well. I recommended her to my neighbors and would definitely use her again.

Alicia is great & her team is very hardworking & professional. We had a great experience working with Firmly Planted. Alicia was a great listener, she paid attention to all out "wishes", we discussed multiple options, plans were revised & revised again until it was perfect. She took the time to educate us about all the planting options & took us to a nursery to pick out all the plants. We had gophers eating up our yard & all the new plants had to be put in "cages" to protect them and that was hard work. They were punctual, the project was finished on time. The end result is beautiful! We love our back yard, it is a gorgeous oasis! and its getting more beautiful & lush every month. Alicia has been great following up with us, she has checked on the plants multiple times & replaced the few that didn't survive. I would absolutely use Firmly Planted again & recommend to anyone needing a garden facelift.

We love our Firmly Planted garden! Alicia and her team transformed our drab front yard by installing a new stone path, a few new trees, and gorgeous ground cover and plants that get more and more beautiful each week. We get comments from strangers walking by on a weekly basis. Also, Alicia not only cares deeply about her work - she also cares for her clients and stays in touch after the fact to answer questions, check on progress, etc. She's even dropped by on her own time to see how everything is growing in. She truly aims to please as opposed to having her own agenda for someone's space, and she knows how to problem solve and will hold your hand through (and after) the entire process. We can't wait for her to get started on our backyard later this year.

Alicia met with us, learned and understood what we wanted in our landscaping design, and then executed a beautiful garden that was just what we envisioned. She was punctual, and completed the job on time and on budget. Part of the job involved carrying plants and planting material up four flights to stairs to our roof deck.
