Grimes Natural Landscape was founded by Douglass Grimes a native of Palo Alto, Doug eventually enlisted the help of his sons, and in 1974 they formed Grimes Natural Landscape, Inc. Doug was an inspirational man who retired in 1985, but not before he passed on his flair for the craft, his philosophies, unprecedented talent for longevity in structural design, and first generation integrity. Steve Grimes has since expanded Grimes Natural Landscape into a mature establishment that conquers all aspects of custom landscape design and construction. Owner Kelly Witt and Designer Steve Grimes now work together to bring your project to reality. Grimes Natural Landscape has the unique talent for blending old world craftsmanship and integrity, with modern technology and concepts. It is with this combination and philosophies that kept Grimes Natural Landscape at the forefront of landscape design and construction for over 60 years. We have created pristine outdoor living atmospheres that will last a lifetime for everyone to enjoy. Based in Los Altos Hills for nearly 40 years Grimes Natural Landscape has a wide array of projects throughout the Peninsula. From the grand estates of Atherton and Woodside to the rustic country side homes of Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and Saratoga, we have navigated our way through diverse terrains and the most challenging properties in the bay area. We have spent many years perfecting our craft and meeting and conquering all challenges that we might encounter.
