Anna Boeschenstein, Grounded, LLC, has collaborated with me on a number of projects from an involved hardscape patio and planters project to deck and fitness room design projects. Her design ideas have been appropriate to my property and style. She is good at listening to what I want and then making it look good. She is fun to work with, available when needed, and able to creatively troubleshoot when issues arise (very important!). I highly recommend her.

Anna and I have worked together on some very interesting and beautiful projects. Our first opportunity to collaborate came about when I had a client who required an extensive and detailed master plan that was beyond my design skills and ability. I referred the client to Anna, and the end result is stunning. The project I am referring to was Shady Lawn. Anna managed to tie together apparently disparate elements, difficult grades and structures that were out of square and alignment. Anna designed vast terraced lawns, a stunning travertine pool deck, fieldstone walls, brick pavers, stone dust paths, sandstone steps and pool coping, all of which work together beautifully to create one of my favorite projects. Anna has a great eye and understands well how to design spaces and landscapes that fit the site and incorporate the needs and vision of her clients. She has a solid and realistic understanding of budgets and schedules and strives to create value for her clients. My wife and I had little understanding of the design process or how to stage the development of our landscape project. Mrs. Boeschenstein was very accurate in her estimate and evaluation of the scope of our endeavor and thanks to her experience guided us through this labor. She helped us understand the order in which things would proceed and recommended several contractors who proved to be very skilled and reliable. She addressed issues regarding drainage and irrigation that I hadn't even considered. She turned our pool into a remarkable living space through her beautiful design and balanced eye. Even the smallest details were not overlooked thanks to her high expectations. I simply love the terraced gardens, balance of materials (stone, wood and metal) and colorful palate of flowers and shrubs. Most importantly, she tied it all together so it is cohesive, functional and beautiful. I am so very happy with the final result.
