Ian Moore Design, Inc. is a landscape design-build firm based in Berkeley, California. We specialize in outdoor structures and creative use of small spaces. We take great pride in the details of our projects and believe that they add up to a sum greater than their parts - crafting outdoor spaces from wood, stone, metal, flora and sustainable infrastructure. We provide complete landscape services - beginning with conceptual design, carried through to design development and project permitting, and concluding with construction through the finest details. Our capabilities enable us to design and install stone and metal hardscapes, outdoor carpentry, plantings, irrigation, graywater and rainwater systems, and to provide ongoing management and care of these systems. Our 'Bay Friendly Qualification' demonstrates our commitment to creating outdoor environments that look their best in drought. Our focus on hardscape, low water plantings and sustainable site systems provides our clients with landscapes that are beautiful and functional with limited resources required to sustain them. We work collaboratively with homeowner, property owners, architects, landscape architects, general construction design-build firms, as well as other landscape construction firms. We also partner with a wide range of craftsman in order to offer the best blend of skills and capabilities for any project.
