Influence Outdoors/Gerard (Sensitive Information Hidden) recently finished redoing the front of our house and yard. They look absolutely beautiful. He and his crew transformed a dated and nondescript house into a beautiful, attractive and inviting front with wonderful curb appeal. I think we now have the best looking house not just on our street but in the neighborhood. His crew showed up early in the morning and worked diligently throughout day every day until the job was completed. Gerry is an amazing experienced professional. He created an absolutely gorgeous plan to over hall our backyard completely including a pool. He is creative, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He frequently and clearly communicated with us. Gerry was patient with our questions and helped us with advice on minor changes. Our pool contractor was extremely impressed with the quality and detail of the plans. I highly recommend Gerry for landscape design.

We are working with Jerry since March 2022 and our project is nearing the end. We hired Jerry after getting 2 other bids and talking to few other construction companies. After meeting with Jerry and talking to his previous clients we moved forward with our project very quickly and there was no long wait times to start our project. He stayed right on track as promised and there has been constant communication all along. Unlike all the horror stories I had heard and read about the various contractors along with supply chain issues we had none due to Jerry guiding us in the right direction at all times. McLaughlin Landscape Construction remodeled my backyard and helped transform it into what is now affectionately known as the “Resort and Spa.” From the beginning, Jerry McLaughlin listened with an artist’s’ ear and applied his experience and expertise to bring to life the backyard of my dreams. The project involved a complete backyard demo, removing all landscape and hardscape including taking the existing pool down to its concrete shell. Drainage and utilities were laid and then the project features began to emerge: •New patio with kitchen and living areas, including fireplace •New jacuzzi incorporated into a spectacular water feature that flows into the •New lagoon-like pool with boulders and adjacent succulent planters •Fire pit area with built-in seating •English garden with meandering pathways and bubble fountain •Raised bed for growing herbs and vegetables Over the 5-month-long project, Jerry was on site nearly every day his workers were scheduled ensuring things were progressing as planned. His team was professional and reliable. When one sub-contractor’s work was not up to par, Jerry was responsive and on top of things until they were completed to our satisfaction. The project proceeded mostly as scheduled, only briefly delayed due to pandemic backlogs or inclement weather. I was so pleased with the work done that a few extra features were added towards the end. Family and friends have been very impressed with the results, and we have all been thoroughly enjoying our new “Resort and Spa.” Thank you, Jerry!!!

Gerard was fantastic. He did a great job balancing his creativity with our wants. The plans and renderings were very timely. He was very flexible with our changes and made the process very easy.

I had them do landscaping in both yards. Strong points about the whole project was the design phase. They diligently planned out the job, had very creative ideas... which actually made me nervous at first because i could not see the vision. My wife got it right away :). Job was completed on time, crew cleaned up mess everyday. By the way i get nothing but wows! from friends and neighbors on how awesome my yard looks and works.

Based on a detailed design, I obtained competitive quotes from four landscape construction companies last year. It was a shocking experience that their quotes differed so substantially. Aside from Jerry's strong reputation, I was most comfortable with his quote. Jerry started the project just before a burning summer. I was concerned that he might not deliver his promise in time. To my surprise, his team kept the project moving forward smoothly. My neighbors in this new community were very impressed with our construction progress. It was Jerry, who possess great skills managing his staff and suppliers to make this magic happen and finally completed the whole landscape construction two weeks before agreed due date. Several months after Jerry finished this project, I asked him to come back to touch up and replace a few plants. He returned pleasantly and had them all done very soon. Jerry is such a nice gentleman that I would hire him again in the future when I have another landscape construction project.

I worked with Gerard to design my backyard project. I found him after some research over internet. He is extremely humble, professional, sincere. Though i knew what I wanted on my backyard but i didnt know where to place pool, where to place firepit , fountains and all... Gerard read my mind and absorbed all my thoughts ans put them into pictures. The first glance to his rough draft was amazing and we kept improvising from there. He was never hesitant to change it when i asked him to redo so many times. He stopped by my home to explain me when i had questions.. His work is one of the best and i have shown my backyard design photos to my several friends and each and everyone has appreciated a lot.. if i had his estimate to build the project within my budget then i would have definitely done it through him. Landscape, Pool and Spa design works- All in one I really appreciated the design and the greatest works from McLaughlin Landscape Construction-Mr. Jerry which is the most professional contractor I have ever worked with. I contacted this company several times while we were currently in construction with another builder for our pool project. They were always so gracious to answer my questions, provide helpful feedback on my project (which they were getting paid nothing) and even provide the details for materials that we were interested in. We basically ended up designing and completing our own project. I wish I had found this company first. I would use them in a heartbeat. I have since given their information to at least four friends who are interested in building a pool.

McLaughlin Landscape is the most professional contractor i have ever worked with. they do what they say in the time frame that they promise. additionally all of the principals are tradesmen themselves so they know exactly what they are talking about and how to do it themselves. Jerry McLaughlin is especially creative and has a wonderful feel for putting general thoughts into solid designs. I contracted with this company on a number of homes that i have lived in. In addition to performing extensive landscaping project for me they recently designed and built a 1,000 sq/ft guest house. i hired Jerry McLaughlin because i have known him for 30 years and he is a man of his word and his work is spot on. he started the job when i asked him too and it was complete when he said it wouild be. i also sell Jerry his lumber and building materials, i have been on many of his jobs just to see what he is building and he has a great vision for his customers projects.

McLaughlin Construction did everything they said they would and went above and beyond our expectations. As soon as construction started they always had people at the house working 6 days a week. Everything was on budget as promised. They produce high quality work and never cut corners. It was great that Jerry was able to take my wife's and my ideas and pull it all together. In what was a concrete wasteland of a tiny back yard they were able to give us a beautiful waterfall, a large spa and a wood burning oven. It is like being on vacation everyday now!

Mclaughlin installed hardscape in my backyard consisting of spa with waterfall, fireplace, retaining walls, raised patio with dual steps, pilasters and custom benches. The hardscape turned out beautiful. High quality material consisting of travertine and stacking stone , excellent color/texture for stone work, grand looking custom colored concrete caps on retaining walls and pilasters. High quality spa equipment. The curves for walkways and walls add an interesting dimension to yard. Jerry has a key eye for art which he is able to translate into his landscaping projects.
