We have been very happy with our association with Inside Out and are eager — VERY eager — for spring. Can’t wait to see the full realization of the vision for our property in South Frankfort. We appreciated the personal consultation. The resulting design reflected our hopes and ideas. We are going to have lots of color. The plan incorporates many of our current plantings, including tulips transplanted from the Capitol and roses that have now seen four generations of our family. We have opted for the full maintenance package as well. A real relief, personally, as we face the realities of our age and acknowledge that we can no longer do such rigorous work ourselves.

After 3 years of living in our 1897 home, we decided it was time to tackle our drainage issues. We chose Inside Out Design because of their expertise in drainage (we live in Old Louisville where the lots are small and challenging), and we wanted to make our backyard more beautiful and functional. As a professional (interior) designer, I know I can be an exacting client, but Andrea and her team were more than happy to take my vision and make it 1,000 times better, while still giving me exactly what I asked for. Now that the spring rains have begun, it's even more obvious what a fantastic investment we've made in our backyard! Most importantly, for a historic home, the landscape design looks as though it's been here for years, not months. We can't wait to spend all of our time in the backyard this spring!

Inside Out Design did a wonderful job designing and installing an extended patio and built in fire pit in our back yard along with redesigning our back yard landscaping. Crews were always there on time and very professional. The project was completed quickly and we can't wait to have them back for more landscaping projects!

Inside Out installed a permeable paver driveway at our home and not only does it look amazing, it reduces runoff and has helped prevent moisture in our basement. The staff was helpful from start to finish, planning to completion. The installation team was courteous and worked very hard to complete the project despite Mother Nature not being very cooperative. We would highly recommend Inside Out for all your landscaping and gardening work!

We just finished a huge outdoor project on our home in Frankfort. We essentially had a blank canvas and no idea how to even start making the front of our home look more inviting! Andrea came over and immediately starting giving us tons of ideas. We decided to move forward on aspects of the project, and hired them to build a porch and do some hardscaping - and it turned out fantastic! We get compliments from our neighbors and people passing by saying how great it looks and how well it fits into our historical neighborhood! We also appreciated Andrea's suggestions on things we could do on our own since we love DIY projects and also are newlywed home owners with a limited budget. I would absolutely recommend them, and if we ever have more outdoor projects they'd be the only company I'd consider!

Inside Out completed an extensive backyard project for my family that included overseeing a pool installation, pool pavilion, landscaping, fencing, cleanup, addition of stairs/under decking and countless other details (a large and expensive project). From the initial meeting with both Michael and Andrea and all subsequent interactions with them and their crew, they were always professional and courteous. They went above and beyond to ensure our project went smoothly and that we were happy. Their crew was extremely friendly and professional as well. We have recommended their services to close friends without reservation and I would gladly choose them again for any future projects we may have.

Inside Out Design is fantastic company to do business with. Andrea is spectacular with design and Michael is a pleasure to work with. They did a complete design and landscape for us 10 years ago and the yard still looks like they did it yesterday. We have them come every other year to help with maintenance and they are prompt , do what they say they will do all for a reasonable price. We called almost all the landscape design companies in Louisville and this company was the best by far! When the weather gets better we will be consulting with them to design out patio. Their quote was reasonable and the response was timely! Everyone else we contacted either didn't come through with a quote or never responded to our phone calls or messages. If you're looking for someone who is going to shoot straight with you, this is your guy!!! Also, they're a husband and wife team!!!!

Inside out designed two new outdoor spaces for us and landscaping around the house. They extended our patio outside the basement with pavers and added a fire pit. They also designed a pool/spa area and helped guide the installation of it. Along with landscaping around the pool and more pavers. Everything was done on time and in a professional manner. Could not have been more pleased with the outcome. They pay attention to detail and make sure the job is completed properly. Would recommend to anyone.
