My neighbors literally have thanked us for the gorgeous views of our Gardens from their windows. I am blown away everyday at the beauty of our garden, watching it bloom and admiring all of the beautiful colors and textures. We receive constant compliments from people walking by our house. Right after it was finished we won the coveted designation of "The Green Thumb Award" for our area which highlights neighborhood beautification! Look no further, if you are in the area you will not find a better landscape designer than Janiece. We took our time to research and interview others and believe me, no one had a vision or understood our aesthetic better. We wanted a beautiful picturesque garden to recreate the experience of an "old" natural landscape and then have our home blend into it (which Janiece also recreated) by using specific color palettes and different textures with an element of wildness. Plus, we have an incredible slope that is hard to work with and means drainage is especially important. Janiece had a ton of ideas for this issue. Her love and knowledge of foliage is incredible, she looks at every minuet detail and put her heart into our project. As the plants are growing, I admire her selection of plants for their height in correlation to each other and the different times they bloom over the year. Janiece definitely is a rockstar!! she listened to what I was looking for and provided the beautiful natural garden I dreamed of.

Janiece has a brilliant eyes for color matching fur your outdoor furniture. Which is only exceeded by her ability to create depth and perfect combinations in your garden. Gorgeous outcome. Highly recommended

Janiece Snyder designed and re-landscaped my whole front yard. During our initial meeting, I briefly described what I was envisioning and she knew what questions to ask to deliver that vision. Janiece and her fantastic crew got he job done efficiently, showing up everyday and meticulously cleaning up after themselves until the job was done. They exceeded my expectations and I absolutely LOVE my new yard!

We contacted many companies and decided on Janiece because she was so easy to talk to and work with. She walked us through every step of the process, making suggestions and helping us make decisions. She was always responsive to any questions or concerns we had, and made sure everything was done perfectly. Her crew was first rate and did a great job. We couldn’t be happier with our backyard; it has exceeded our expectations.

Janiece was awesome to work with. We gave her the big picture of what we wanted to accomplish and she provided all the detail you would expect out of a designer. If I had hired another contractor for my back yard, given my direction, I would have ended up with a cement racquet ball court. Janice created great angles, used trees, bushes, landscaping, lighting, fire, water, and rocks to create a genuine piece of art. Janiece's knowledge of materials and fabrics, landscaping, and lighting created something you cannot create on your own. She really is a designer. I would strongly recommend her.

We hired Janiece Snyder to design the landscape for our front and backyard. She transformed our space that was dated and didn't serve our needs into one that was cleaner and more contemporary, but more importantly, it was functional. We had a few ideas about what we wanted to do with our space, but we were clueless otherwise when it came to materials, softscape, etc. She researched all the materials, plants, trees, and flowers, and presented us with different choices that would tie our landscape and house together. She obtained numerous bids for each type of service required. She also coordinated with the contractor and all the various types of labor services. She stopped by the house often and was always easy to contact and communicate with. We were so pleased that Janiece was able to implement our ideas and love how the entire property looks now. The curb appeal has been completely transformed! Our landscape is about 70% hardscape and 30% softscape and we demolished most of both yards, except for a few plantars. Our goal was to create a beautiful and cleaner space, that had less bugs, and was more functional space for two young kids. We leveled our backyard by taking out a large amount of hibiscus plants that were attracting too many bugs, and a small patch of grass that was at an incline. We installed travertine tile and artificial turf a bench and a fireplace with softscape on the edges. In the front yard, we demolished a gate that was separating our driveway and entryway, removed the flagstone walkway and concrete driveway, and leveled the ground. We added more travertine tile and turf, a basketball hoop, a gate/fence for our entire front property line, and softscape on the perimeter. We also removed the dated stucco from the exterior of the house and re-plastered it with a smooth stucco. Janiece truly insists on using quality so the results will last for close to forever!

I am an architect and I have worked with Janiece on two separate residential projects--one in Hermosa Beach and the other in Manhattan Beach. I found her very easy to work with, full of good ideas, and very creative. Her plant selection was always appropriate and creative. She is capable of designing gardens that are kid-friendly, and also very capable of design for more formal designs, as well. I highly recommend Janiece Snyder for any landscape design.
