We had Land Effects do a complete renovation on a 30+ years old pool and deck. The project included the reconstruction of a multilevel deck (which cantilevers over a ravine) in stone and composite decking, relocation of the pool equipment and construction of a shed for the equipment plus storage, design and construction of a pool water feature and placement and installation of exterior lighting and drainage systems. Keith also recommended the additional tradesmen that were required (pool service, pool marbelite, electrician and gas) and coordinated them throughout the construction period. We had a very general idea of what we wanted. Keith understood us exactly, told us the best ways to get them done plus recommended a number of creative design ideas that were excellent and that we incorporated. He discussed with us our options for design and material and made knowledgeable and well thought out recommendations. From beginning to end Keith kept us constantly informed of the progress as well as the cost. He copied us on all expenses and gave us weekly updates of the ongoing budget. I can't say enough about the quality of the work. It is outstanding. Bob, Roman, Chris, Mike and the others were detailed, careful and highly professional. Any changes due to unforeseen problems were well thought out and thoroughly discussed with us. Their attention to detail was exceptional, We were completely comfortable through out the construction that it would be done right and that no shortcuts would be taken. As well, all the subcontractors that Keith recommended were excellent and dependable. This was a major renovation for us. It took over 9 weeks during one of Toronto's hottest summers to complete. The guys worked full out till the job was done and Keith was present throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend Keith and Land Effects for any job and would gladly hire them again for future work. They were a pleasure to work with. Thanks guys! We love our back yard.

We were absolutely thrilled with our backyard renovation by Keith and his staff from Land Effects Outdoor Living Spaces Ltd. His staff exhibited professionalism and quality workmanship each and every day. We were very happy with Keith's design and his attention to detail that has turned our backyard into a living Oasis that also has a Zen feel to it and look forward to spending many more hours outside than inside.

Our rear garden was beautifully transformed by:- -Extending our deck and installing an integral BBQ area with stainless counter tops and wooden cabinets. -Installation of a large flag stone patio area just off the deck surrounded by large stone structures including pebbled areas and raised garden areas. -Installation of a shaped lawn followed by another smaller patio area surrounded by a stone enclosed raise flower bed. -All plants, shrubbery and trees were installed as well as relocation of a garden shed. The following year our front garden was also Landscaped and a parking pad installed with varying designs of interlocking pavers. The front porch and steps was completely replaced. The work was excellent and they attended to all the details along with coordinating with sprinkler and lighting specialists. We were very please with the final outcome. The suggestions along the way were very good, e.g. existing shed relocation and staining. Many thanks to Keith.

Land Effects have completed two jobs for us. A few years ago, they did a complete design and build of our back garden space, complete with brick base with drainage and elevated garden beds. It is still stunning. More recently, they designed and built a new staircase for our front. It has greatly improved the curb appeal of our front entrance and we have received numerous compliments from friends and neighbours. At all times, the employees of Land Effects were courteous and communicative. I can't recommend them highly enough. We will be calling them next year to set up our next project!

I have known Keith for over 20 years now - he is an excellent designer with a keen eye for detail . As a custom home and deck builder I have brought Keith in on numerous projects where a professional Landscape designer was required. This project involved a very small 18 x 30' backyard that included a contemporary Cabana as well as dining area. He came up with a cantilevered flat roof and stainless steel bar top that is really stunning. Loved the finished product !

Keith and his crew Roman and Bob are excellent multi-skilled technicians. They landscaped our backyard to include a boulder fall, two patios, two sets of stairs (with a landing in between) and several gardens. They poured a concrete pad for a garden shed and the following year returned to build a pergola. Always on budget, always on time. When work looked like it was not on schedule for some reason, Keith left the office and pitched in digging or driving one of his landscaping vehicles. He has big energy and stands by his projects. Before anything was started, we discussed our ideas with Keith, and for a flat fee he drew up a blueprint for his design. It gave us peace of mind and is a wonderful resource, one we have referred to since. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Keith was wonderful to work with from design to installation. He met with us, took our ideas and created a beautiful backyard with deck and hot tub. His crew is professional and we were impressed with their craftsmanship. Keith listened, was open to changes and often gave suggestions. He paid attention to the small details of the project. He provided us with regular budget updates and completed the project on time. He was there to deal with the subcontractors. It was a totally stress free experience. I hired Land Effects for both my backyard - new patio, landscaping etc - and my frontyard - landscaping, planting, and driveway. I trusted Keith right away when I met him, which I believe to be key to a successful project. Keith has great ideas and a good design sense - both projects were on time, on budget and exceeded my expectations, There was great communication along the way.
