We worked with Bill and Gus to reimagine our backyard, which was large but sloped and not very usable. We initially hired them for a landscape design and were impressed by how well they incorporated our feedback into revisions. They delivered a plan that stayed within our budget while still meeting all of our goals.Once the project moved into construction, Gus was on-site every morning, and both he and Bill were consistently responsive and attentive to our questions and concerns. Bill, in particular, has an uncanny ability to reply within minutes—no matter the time of day. Both are people of high integrity, and it was clear they genuinely cared about the outcome. We're thrilled with the final result. Our backyard now has three level areas: one for a swingset, one with a fire pit, and one for general entertaining. The plantings look fantastic, and we definitely got the wow factor we were hoping for. We highly recommend Bill and Gus for both landscape design and construction, including stone work.

Bill & team did a great job with our backyard - it was a significant project with new plantings and trees, bluestone paths, and a large porcelain patio including firepit. We were pleased with the development of the plans, and they had a very good team bringing it to life. We love our new yard.

I hired Bill (Sensitive Information Hidden) to design and supervise the planting for my house near New York City. From the beginning, Bill was thoughtful and listened carefully to my goals for the design. The result is all I could have hoped for. From new hardscaping features like a new bluestone patio, to new perennial beds and hedging, Bill integrated his vision into a beautiful design. His suggestions for a sprinkler system were really helpful in who I chose to install the system. Bill was responsive throughout the process, and really seemed to care about the budget and fulfilling my needs. I highly recommend him for any project you have in mind, large or small.

Bill and Gus transformed our small property in Larchmont into a beautiful oasis. They're truly artists and scientists - creatively layering different species for maximum visual appeal, planning for blooms throughout the year, and making use of even the shadiest spots we thought we couldn't grow. To boot, they're exceptional communicators and were onsite regularly during both the planning and planting process. I recommend Bill & Gus highly. They are among the best contractors I have ever worked with. They recently finished a job for me which was installing two dry wells to collect the output from my sump pump and gutter, and repairing the bluestone walkway on two sides of my house. The results are beautiful and enhance my property value. Bill was great to work with. He is a good listener, honest, flexible, and created a very nice plan for us. He dealt with the town engineers easily for the work permit. Gus and his crew were exemplary. The entire team (including Bill & Gus) was punctual and responsive, and ready to work as soon as I was. You can tell they are experts and have done this many times. I really appreciated their attention to detail.

Bill and team were fantastic! There is always a lot of apprehension when a homeowner decides to invest in major hardscaping and landscaping. From the first interaction, Bill and team were clear, professional, prompt, and ultimately delivered and executed a beautiful design. We had backyard that had a big slope with a largely undefined space. Bill designed a team that gave our yard structure, beauty, and intimacy while incorporating features (e.g. retaining walls) that were both beautiful and functional. The patio designed is beautiful and the landscaping is both thoughtful and balanced. He did a wonderful job picking plants that were practical for us (dog-friendly, anti-deer) but fit our aesthetic. After dealing with many types of designers and contractors, we really appreciated clear communication and promptness by Bill. Bill and team delivered ahead of schedule. When we had a unrelated major snafu with our house, his team adapted. We can recommend Bill and team without any hesitation!

I can’t say enough about Bill and his team! Bill listened to what we wanted for the space, collaborated seamlessly with our architect on the larger portion of the project, and did everything quickly, efficiently and beautifully. His team showed up everyday and meticulously worked to get everything perfect - even coordinating with the larger team when we hit some unexpected snags. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our space is beautiful and we look forward to many many years of enjoyment. I’d recommend them to anyone!

Bill was incredible to work with. He designed our entire backyard complete with a pool and new stone patio. We were warned by many that the process of building a pool in our town would be "a nightmare". If it was, we never knew about it. Bill handed everything and it couldnt have gone smoother. He presented us with multiple ideas for our project and was very responsive to incorporating our own ideas until the final concept. He was a pleasure to work with- professional, creative and extremely responsive. We highly recommend him!

Bill and his team created a fantastic design for our pool and patio project. He took our rustic sloping backyard with a wooden deck and designed and built a stunning stone patio with a pool, lighting, outdoor kitchen, beautiful floral landscapes, and stone staircases. Before the project began, Bill went through several iterations to help us find the perfect blueprint that would suit our taste and needs, while still satisfying strict town regulations. While the design was initially the most important part of the project - and in many ways still is, Bill actively participated, supervised, and advised throughout the build process which was essential. Bill was on site and could always be reached before, during, and after construction. We were very pleased with Bill's attention to detail, and follow through with town, permits, regulations, and the tradespeople associated with our project. We are thrilled with the outcome and would recommend Bill's work.
