About Us

Little Landscapes' mandate is simple: we strive to create unique, personalized landscape designs that are installed with the highest degree of quality and craftsmanship. We work with you to create tailor-made, one-of-a-kind, functional, stunning outdoor living spaces to suit the needs of you and your family. Trevor Little is the owner and founder of Little Landscapes and brings to the table over 15 years of experience working in the Landscape Construction industry. A second generation Landscaper, Trevor grew up as part of a very successful family-run company based out of Cobourg, Ontario. After some extensive travel and employment with a handful of high-end, award-winning landscape contractors, he found himself ready to take on a new challenge. In the past 15 years, Trevor has worked on just about every type of landscape project imaginable, from high-end residential to complex commercial to our own pristine national parks. His extensive knowledge and experience have given him the ability to foresee potential problems and troubleshoot accordingly.

It started with Trevor showing up on time for our initial meeting, followed by a detailed quote and work starting as stated. We are extremely pleased with the finished look of the new wall around our garden and the pavers at both the front door and sidewalk edge of garden.

This review is a little late, but nevertheless, we wanted to make sure we did a review to express our gratitude. Trevor and his team did an excellent job and completed everything on time on our backyard. They installed UNILOCK pavers and a sliding fence to divide the backyard to the parking pad. Having dealt with contractors in the past, it was nice to finally have someone I can trust. Trevor's team was very nice to deal with and were very accommodating to our requests. The work was amazing and Trevor came back unexpectedly to do some final touch ups at no cost. Very pleased with the work and professionalism and would not hesitate to recommend Trevor and his team. PS We have pictures on our cell phone, we will upload them soon.

LITTLE Landscapes redid our front steps and front garden wall. They are a professional company. The work was completed in a timely manner and looks beautiful. When the city did some sidewalk work and disrupted our new lovely front steps, Trevor came back to ensure our steps were repaired. We have been very pleased and would hire this company again in a heartbeat for the next landscaping job!

We contacted Little Landscapes to rebuild a retaining wall at the front of the house. The original wall was a grungy concrete block and about to fall over. Trevor helped us source the perfect stone and ensured that all the drainage issue behind the stone were installed. The curb appeal of this new dry-stack wall gets us lots of positive comments!

Trevor built us a new cedar fence and built up part of our deck 2 years ago, as well as completed the sod and shaped our gardens, and he could not have done a better job. He always arrived on time and he and his worker cleaned up after each day as well. Even our neighbours told us how impressed they were with how polite and courteous he was (we have a shared driveway). One thing I really like about Trevor is how detail-oriented he is, and how he truly cares about picking top quality of products he uses, which gave us good peace of mind. He also made appropriate and creative suggestions for our space. I credit this to his rich photographic background as well as his vast landscaping experience and knowledge. The work was completed in the stated time frame as well, which we really appreciated, as it gave us more time that season to fully enjoy the yard. The final product looks phenomenal and exactly what we had in mind. We look forward to working with Little Landscapes for future outdoor work!

Firstly, Trevor and his team were both incredibly friendly and professional. They work only on one project at a time, so even though my entire front lawn was transformed into an intricate walkway and raised beds with no inch left untouched, the project took a matter of days, not weeks. Someone else mentioned that he and his team will debrief at the end of the day to keep the client in the loop at all times. This is true. Not only that, but Trevor brings strong creative problem solving skills to the table as well, and on more than one occasion made suggestions that were the perfect solution. this is something one would expect in a contractor, but we've rarely seen during other projects with different companies. We could not be more pleased with the end result of our project, and have already recommended Little Landscapes to our friends and neighbours, who have all been by to appreciate Trevor & Co's work.

Trevor and his crew were fantastic. They completed a significant landscaping project on our Leslieville semi, which involved excavating the entire outdoor area of our property. The proper sub surface material was laid. We did interlock, built walls, installed lighting, poured concrete, created gardens, planted a tree and created a parking pad. In addition to all of this work, Trevor helped with related parts of the project including installing some wrought iron and Cedar fences. He and his crew were very friendly. Our kids loved them. They showed up every day. They were attentive and responsive and came in on budget. I would highly recommend Little landscapes for any outdoor projects!

The whole project went very quickly and smoothly and we are getting way more enjoyment from our back yard now. The fact that our dog doesn't come in from the backyard covered in mud is a huge bonus.

After an initial delay (weather related), Trevor & his team only took a couple of days to complete the project. They were professional, polite, and helpful throughout. Trevor knew his product and suggested different stone options. Great result & quality - exactly as I wanted.
