Michael A. Gilkey, Inc. is a landscape architecture studio in Sarasota, Florida, established in 1981. Through a passion for pure design and personal relationships with architects, contractors and homeowners, we create expressions of outdoor space that are direct translations of our clients’ visions. As an architecture firm, we have worked with Michael A Gilkey, Inc. on numerous high end custom homes in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Venice, Florida. Their team is very knowledgeable, wonderfully artistic, and they care greatly about the homeowner and the end result. Their landscape designs are responsive to the local environment and ultimately become an extension of the architecture. Through their understanding of a project's overall design concept and the smaller, custom details, they are able to enhance the living areas of not just the exterior spaces but the interior as well.
