Mike redesigned an outdoor sunken garden for my South End brownstone. I was looking for a modern aesthetic in a small space. He did a great job incorporating all of the elements I was looking for. He was timely, responsive, and helped managed all elements of the project from design to bid to construction oversight. A real pleasure to work with.

Michael did a great job collaborating with our firm in designing the landscape for a new house completed in the Boston Suburbs in 2018. Michael worked directly with the Client, but he was eager to understand the architectural design and have the landscape become an extension of the house. This was particularly true with Michael’s design of the terrace, with seating and plantings that created a continuity of the family room. I highly recommend Michael for his hard work and talented aesthetic.

Mike redesigned the back entrance to our house, replacing an asphalt driveway with a new bluestone patio and a brick auto court. We chose Mike because we felt that he could apply an urban sensibility and experience working in tight spaces in a way that would respect the character of our old home. We worked through a few designs and Mike continued to refine and iterate with new improvements. He knew how to listen to us and respond with changes that really captured our intentions. Mike demonstrated an attention to detail and commitment to the project during the construction phase, from vendor selection through to the final punch list. We're eagerly waiting to complete the planting in the spring but we'd already consider the project an unqualified success. Definitely recommend.

Mike took our project from beginning to end. We knocked down an old house and built a new one, and Mike helped us landscape the challenging lot. Navigating between the town's restrictions and our own needs, Mike came up with a plan that was both beautiful and cost-sensitive. He brought samples of all the hardscape materials so we could see and touch them before deciding. Best of all, as we hit little snags, he helped adjust the plan so it remained coherent. He listens, which I daresay is a rare quality. He's wonderful to work with, and the results are spectacular. I highly recommend him.

Just had Michael complete our patio space, and he did an exellecent job. We could not be happier with the outcome. From the design process to his level of quality expectations and design esthetic to the contractors recommended to managing any issues to the follow-up and care he put in to be sure we got what was expected, Michael was phenominal. We now have an oasis in the midde of the city thanks to Michael!
