Michael j Dul & Associated did an OUTSTANDING job on our home. We built new on a vacant parcel. Integrating the landscape architecture, home architecture and natural beauty of the lake parcel was done with world class quality. It looks absolutely fantastic. Five years after the initial work, all of the plantings have grown in the way anticipated giving us year round beauty that does not overwhelm the home. We give them the highest rating and highly recommend their very talented staff!

Michael J Dul and his incredible staff did a fantastic job of transforming our front landscaping from a forest of dead and dying trees to a making a statement in the neighborhood. I would recommend them to anyone. From initial concept through final installation the Dul staff oversaw every aspect of the project: landscape design, lighting, sprinklers etc. They kept the subcontractors on time and within budget. Our neighbor's and city officials have given us numerous kudos.

We have worked with Michael Dul and Patrick Funke twice, once in 2013 and once in 2016, as we were so pleased with the design and management of the projects. During the design phases, we were provided with several innovative options with regard to larger features in the plan. Patrick Funke managed our projects with attention to each detail, including providing solutions related to the challenges caused by our three puppies. We were informed in advance of each contractor's arrival and estimated duration on the project. He also accompanied each contractor on initial contact with us for introductions. Patrick was, and continues to be, the perfect liaison between us and the city with regard to approval processes. We highly recommend Michael J. Dul & Associates, and we will continue to work with them in the future!

Our experience with Patrick Funke and Michael Dul was outstanding. Our home sits on a steep hill overlooking a lake. They handled the initial drawings including support walls for the porch (necessary due to the large slope), steps, irrigation and plant materials. They also coordinated lighting (which really highlights some great features of our home). Patrick oversaw all aspects of installation and routinely dropped by the site. He was always responsive and a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a sophisticated landscape/hardscape plan.

I can't say enough great things about Michael J. Dul and Associates! They caught our attention with their stunning plans for our new construction site/home and held our attention all the way through with their superior execution of our project from start to finish! Aside from that they were fun, professional, on top of the details, great communicators, and superbly talented! Tim Shoemaker managed our project wonderfully - we were managing the construction of our own home so to have the exterior landscape and hardscape details taken care of so thoroughly by Tim took so much off our shoulders. I would hands down recommend this company to anyone and would want to use them again without a doubt if we ever built another home for ourselves again! Thank you Michael, Tim and all!!

We did a huge project with Michael Dul & Assoc, and mainly worked with Patick Funke in the group. This involved tying two adjacent properties together on the lake. This was a monumental task, covering almost two acres. Infrastructure was needed for water control, lakefront seawalls were required as well, driveways and traffic circles were also part of this plan, along with the completion, plantings, shrubs, lawn, lighting, sprinklers, etc.... Patrick Funke Rules, he is super professional, focused on getting the job done, will solve all the issues as they develop in any project!!!! We had issues with the city, the neighbors, the road commission, the dnr for the waterfront, etc..., Patrick kicks butt on getting the job done. We get compliments on these properties all the time. We've had friends wedding pictures taking here, had these properties shown in many magazines, and must admit, they rocked it out on this job!!! They finished this up about 4 years ago. We just had them back for some touch ups and a few drainage add-ons, and again, Patrick ruled!!!!! If you are looking for the cheapest price, this is not the one. If you are looking for one of the best around town, professionalism with high quality work, this is the one!!!! Highly recommended!!!

A very professional design firm...Their difference is in the details. A real full service landscape architectural design firm with high quality subcontractors...super efficient. Patrick was a gentleman to work with.

We asked for an “inviting” atmosphere/environment for entertaining guests. Tim (our Project Manager) provided an exceptional initial design concept.
