Montano's Landscaping

We just completed a very large hardscape/landscape project with Carlos and we could not be happier! Carlos is one of the most honest and transparent people I have worked with to date. He created a beautiful space out of a muddy mess and was engaged in the process personally from start to finish. We had a few delays due to a company unrelated to Montano’s in which Carlos and his crew helped us work through even though their job was technically done. I quoted out multiple companies to do the job and Carlos fell in the middle of the quotes but I chose him for his honest options and prompt communication and I am so happy I did.

I was extremely impressed with Carlos and the entire crew. His ideas for the space were so much more complete and thought out than any other proposal I received for this job. He presented a detailed proposal and drawing that helped me visualize his ideas. I was on the schedule and the job was complete within a couple of weeks of paying the deposit. The crew arrived on time and transformed my back yard into a beautiful space. I recommend Montano's Landscaping to everyone.

Montano's Landscaping tore out the existing deck and swingset that had seen better days in our yard and replaced it with a gorgeous bi-level stone patio with a fire pit. Carlos did a great job with the design and lighting we added to both the patio and trees in our backyard. He was also able to reslope the side of our yard back to its original state once the swingset box was removed. We are thrilled with how amazing our new patio looks and how well it functions! We ended up rehiring Montano's Landscaping this past summer to redo our retaining walls in the front, which also look beautiful and professionally done.

I had actually posted on Houzz for recommendations on our house. The phrase "prison" was used. Can't say I was happy about it but could understand perspective. Shortly after had Montano's out to our house based on a friend's recommendation. Carlos was exceptionally patient with us and provided several options and encouraged us to be a little more ambitious then we were comfortable with. End result was outstanding. We are always complimented on the work Carlos has done and have always recommended to friends. Excellent company !!

Nothing but praise for Montano Landscaping! My project involved replacing and redirecting a front entrance walkway, covering an existing concrete porch with pavers, builging a sitting walll and extending my backyard patio, and plantings. We wanted something a little different than what you typically see. Carlos came over to discuss the project, viewed the interior of my home to get an idea of our decorating style, and put together a landscape design that was unique, represented our taste, and was on budget. Several project hurdles (dented metal porch overhang and subgrade window well) were dealt with creatively by Carlos, and enhanced the overall design. The work crew came on time, did quality work, and cleaned up at the end of each work day. The work was completed in the estimated time frame, and we now have what my home lacked ... curb appeal! This family owned business cares about quality and customer satisfaction. Carlos was in frequent communication with me, and visited the site often. The founder of the company, Carlos' Dad Juan, came out to survey the work, meet me and ensure that I was happy. A neighbor who saw our new landscaping contracted with Carlos for his paving project. I've recommended Carlos and Montano Landscaping to friends and family. They are a top notch organization!

Carlos did a great job listening to what we wanted and combining that with his knowledge and artistry. He was responsive and willing to answer all questions. We will call him again for landscaping work and recommend him to anyone!

Montano's helped me figure out what would look best and worked with me so that we could stay within a reasonable budget. Carlos and his team did the work in the time they committed to and communicated with me often to make sure my requirements were being met. The job was a complete front garden renovation as I had many overgrown shrubs and bushes. They completely transformed the front of my house and I couldn't be happier.

Montano landscaping has been taking care of my lawn, shrubs and gardens since I moved to Naperville in 2002. In addition, i contracted with Montano to develop a new landscaping design and installation just a few years ago. It turned out beautiful and I continue to get compliments from neighbors, family and friends. I can't say enough positive things about this company. They are reliable, professional, reasonably priced and, most important, they always go out of their way to ensure the client is satisfied. It is a family run business that takes pride in what they do. In addition, I always get a prompt response to any question or concern. That alone is rare in today's world.

I have been with Montano's landscaping for over 5 years. They have been wonderful to work with. Carlos improved my front yard with his knowledge of plants where I have something blooming or of interest with every season. I also had Montano's redo my driveway with pavers. Excellent job and creative touch to the floor plan. Very reactive to any concern I have had over the years.

Montano's created a beautiful little blue stone patio with a fire pit for us. We love it! The workers were courteous, cleaned up the site daily and did a great job. The project was completed in a timely matter. I would definitely recommend them for your patio project.

Montano's provided excellent landscaping and paver brick patio installation service from concept to completion. We had a an existing retaining wall and concrete patio removed and replaced with beautiful Unilock pavers. Carlos drew up a number of CAD landscape options which made it very easy to visualize what our yard would look like. The result was getting a beautiful patio with landscaping better than I could have imagined. The crew was very professional and hard working. We couldn't be happier with the result.
