Native Plant Scapes

We used Native Plant Scapes to replace a section of lawn and a small pollinator garden in the fall of 2025. Not only does this new garden look more cohesive, but it has also attracted far more butterflies than we ever had before. Rob and his team were very responsive to our requests during the design and installation of this new garden. We are very happy and would recommend them to friends and neighbors.

After nearly ten years of being passionate about native plants, I finally came to terms with something important: I didn’t have the design skills to bring my vision to life. Would highly recommend these folks. Robert was a joy to work with. He was honest, knowledgeable and genuinely delightful to be around. We have a tiny backyard with odd mixes of shade and direct sunlight and he found the right plants for each area. He was patient with our MANY questions and offered sound advice. I would venture to say these folks are the best native landscape designers in the DMV.

Native Plant Scapes created three garden beds for us as well as a pollinator garden. Rob and Shyon were very knowledgeable and had great suggestions for a variety of plants so that we always have something blooming in the garden. The beds have filled in nicely, and we have had so many bees in our yard this year! Rob and Shyon at Native Plant Scapes did a fantastic job in our side yard. They removed stubborn unwanted invasive vines and shrubs, preserved the existing desired plantings, and added a beautiful native plant garden to fill in the space, including mulch to finish the project.
