That is not something we take lightly, because a truly well-designed outdoor space has the ability to change how you feel every single day. ornamental land design was founded on the belief that your outdoor space should feel like a natural extension of your home: beautiful, personal, and shaped entirely around you. Dianne Sprott leads the studio with degrees in landscape architecture and public health, plus advanced certifications in sustainable and fire-safe design. Beautiful design is always the goal, but her background adds another dimension to every project. She believes that how a space makes you feel goes beyond what you see. A landscape that restores you, that feels right the moment you step into it, fills you up in a way that carries into the rest of your life. Her plans are beautiful, and clients, architects, cities, and everyone else working on a project consistently praise the designs and the level of detail and care that goes into every drawing. The work spans the full range, from intimate courtyard gardens to complete landscape transformations, across a wide range of styles and sites. Diane put her creativity and pragmatism to work in developing a recently-implemented plan for our front, back, and side yards in Davis, CA. Her work reflected and extended our interests and ideas as she brought forward a range of solutions toward delivering a compelling concept that could be delivered within our price range. The resulting yard has made a huge difference in our lives. She selected plants that are easy to take care of yet provide continual year-round blossoming, creating an interesting and flexible canvas for our continued gardening efforts. She has turned our backyard into an engaging and interesting environment exceeding our expectations. She also was an excellent troubleshooter as the project was constructed, working effectively with the contractor throughout. I would highly recommend Diane for both her landscape architecture and her attention to detail in monitoring construction.

She listened well to what we hoped for and made very creative suggestions that met our target budget and look great.
