My wife and I built our first house recently and being complete newbies to the process , we late in the game decided “ we need to do something about the outside / landscaping ! Michael , help !! And that’s what he did , started with onsite meetings , sharing ideas , photo’s , etc …. Michael started sharing his drawings of the plan for review , all thru the process . He also linked us with landscaping , lighting and irrigation professionals to make his architectural drawings happen . We are completely satisfied with the project , and still have Michael checking up on our satisfaction with the project ! Thanks for everything Michael

WIsh I had met MIchael years ago. His design work far outshines that of the larger LA firms we've worked with in the past. He has a great feel for use and scale of outdoor space and a thoughtful way of combining hardscape elements and interesting plant material to create handsome and comfortable outdoor living.

Michael saved us from a disaster. We had an existing design for our yard and pool which is a big and expensive project. We felt unsatisfied with the design. Michael reimagined our front and back yard. Our backyard was quite boring and his architectural expertise transformed it into an English garden look and feel with beautiful box woods surrounded by pachysandra and eight lovely Bosc Elm trees. A new staircase from our second story porch ties the entire backyard together creating a wonderful space for entertaining.

Prior to moving to the Nashville area I started looking into someone to design my backyard and pool area. I didn't want to make the mistake I made with my last house and try to be a "contractor" on a project I knew nothing about. I am mid-way with my project, with plans in hand. The design that Michael put together is spectacular and can't wait to see the final product. The finished product is amazing and after months of watching it come together it is a reality. From plans on paper to the end result, Michael was always available to assist with the project. When Outdoor Ink came out for a site survey, we said we wanted a “wow factor” lanscaping plan to accompany the new pool .. and they delivered ! The plan was presented with color photos of all plant material in such a way that we could visualize the end result. We interviewed several companies, toured numerous homes and with each visit we walked away saying that Outdoor Ink hit the mark and delivered a wow factor each time. Each owner had very positive thinks to say and communication thorough out the process was excellent. We hired Outdoor Ink to draw up plans for a swimming pool in our backyard. Michael is amazing! He worked with us to find a way to fit the largest pool possible into the limited space we had to work with. Michael listened to everything I said I wanted in our landscape design and presented us with a plan that far surpassed anything I could have conjured up on my own. He was open to small tweaks and encouraging rather than fiercely protective of his plan as some designers can be. The design scheme has been installed and looks immaculate now but I know it will become even more and more beautiful over time. His taste is classic and accounts for all four seasons perfectly. He took unpaid time out of his busy day to make sure the plantings were up to his high standards and helped guide the landscape installers and myself through the installation process so that the end result would be just what I wanted and paid for. His pricing is very reasonable and his end product is equal to designers costing nearly 10x what he does. I can't say enough about his talent and recommend him to anyone and everyone.
