We initially found Pachamama on a search in the Houzz website. The firm is owned by Sara, who is such a pleasure to work with. Her process is very collaborative. She gains an understanding of our vision, and taught us how to achieve it by using drought resistant plants that can thrive in our climate. She was very thoughtful and came up with great ideas for how to keep us within our budget. We were particularly impressed with her follow through during the entire process of both design and installation. She provides a ton of resources so the gardens can be properly maintained as well. Through her creativity and extensive knowledge, she transformed our front and backyards into beautiful gardens that went far beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend her for anyone.

I had been dreaming of turning my barren front yard into a thriving habitat for California native plants for longer than I care to admit. Sara and her company, Pachamama Inspired, understood exactly what I was hoping for. They used their expertise to design a garden landscape with native plants compatible with the unique conditions of my yard and included elements that I would never have thought of, such as a meditation rock (or two!) It is a gift to find someone and their company who leads with heart and a reverence for the natural world... I can't wait to continue to work with Sara as my garden grows and evolves.

Sara and her Pachamama Inspired team designed and oversaw the installation of my drought-tolerant yard. They were great about incorporating my ideas and also having me consider new concepts. Sara and her team turned my boring lawn into an oasis of drought tolerant plants and pollinators. It really has been a complete transformation of my yard. Sara was easy to work with. Sara ( and her assistant Leila) made the redesign of our front yard a easy and rewarding experience. After getting a feel for the design style we wanted, Sara came up with a beautiful, bird, bee and butterfly friend front yard design. She put us in touch with a great contractor also. The cost was reasonable and she was worth every penny. She was extremely easy to work with and helped guide us through the construction and planting part of the remodel. She has also helped set up and maintain our water schedule and plant care. We highly recommend Sara and her team. She literally made our dream front yard come true.

I started working with Sara around January 2024. She was very responsive by email and we arrived a time for her to view my yard. I sent her pictures of the yard and a layout with measurements. I knew I wanted a yard with California native plants so I could save water and create an atmosphere for the birds and bees. When we met, she asked a variety of questions to get a feel for what I wanted and what was important to me. She created a preliminary plan and finalized it with my comments. She's very open to discussing the plants and her vision based on my description. Once the plans were finalize, we decided on the installer. She recommended someone she had work with and I was so glad she did. Joe was the perfect installer. Joe's crew worked with Sara to save some of the soil from the raised bed and recycle the rocks from the previous garden. Sara was present for the each step of the installation, which made the process be seamless. I'm extremely happy about my new garden. We spend a part of each day outside in our new space, thanks to Sara!

Sara did an amazing job planning my landscaping. I wanted a low-water landscape with mostly native plants. I already had 3 fruit trees and a magnolia and she was able to plan around them. My yard is an oasis now. I have a small fountain and coupled with the native plants I have birds singing in my yard all day! I've seen bees drinking from the fountain, hummingbirds in the flowers, andbl butterflies checking out the native milkweed. This is just the backyard! She designed the front yard as well to feature sunning rocks for lizards and a mix of both gravel and mulch to create both a desert and SoCal native garden. My neighbors are thrilled and I've received many compliments.

Sara and her team were an absolute delight to work with. They were professional and creative and so helpful in helping us navigate our project.
