I specialize in designing landscapes that make the most of our wonderful California climate and lifestyle. This means working with my clients to create outdoor environments that are low on maintenance, high on usability, drought tolerant, and colorful and inviting all year long. I work with residential and commercial clients throughout the San Francisco and Monterey Bay areas.

OMG!! Patty Walters and her Landscape Design talents are beyond beyond. It all began for me while we were rowing at the spa and I was talking about wanting to upgrade my front garden area. I watched what she did for another "rower" and his garden and I thought, "Well, I want that too!!" From there she TOTALLY revamped my back area and definitely spruced up my front. Now my neighbors smile when they walk by and I feel sooooooooo proud to have such a classy, professional, gorgeous, unique, plus comfortable and very practical front garden and back garden & patio.
Patty Walters did the landscape design for the house my husband and I built 5 years ago in Saratoga. We were looking for drought tolerant, easy maintenance, family friendly, and attractive. We got all that and more -- our front and backyards are major hummingbird and butterfly attractors! And on top of all that, Patty was a joy to work with! She is creative, flexible, fun and hardworking! I am delighted to recommend Patty to anyone without hesitation!
The project I needed Patty's expertise for was a small but very important one: suspended planters for an elevated deck adjacent to the Hayward Fault(!). She provided the design, procured all materials, and installed the units. The light-weight but strong steel baskets with organic liners were perfect for watering, securely fastened to the structure, and the overall effect was elegant. A stunning addition to our outdoor living! I have also seen design work for installations she has executed for other clients; she works attentively to plant selection and placement. She assumes a hands-on role in her projects, not limited to expert design. Perhaps the most important element in her work is her unbridled enthusiasm!
