Nancy & Christine of Remarkable Gardens have over 15 years experience, and specialize in drought tolerant designs and plantings that will make your garden an urban retreat. Remarkable Gardens is a three time winner of HGTV's Landscaper's Challenge and a CLCA State Trophy Award winner. Using hardscape along with landscaping, we will design and install a garden that enhances the style of your home while saving valuable water. Remarkable Gardens began when design team (and sisters) Christine and Nancy decided to bring their penchant for the artistic outdoors. "Remarkable Gardens gives us an outlet for combining our art degrees with our love of plants & outdoor living". Christine and Nancy both possess degrees in fine art, and boast years of experience in artistic fields which have influenced their upscale take on landscaping. Their specialties extend beyond simple plantings, to include architectural elements. This allows their designs to blend seamlessly with the style of each client's home in beautiful ways.

Hi Nancy at Remarkable Gardens, I'm sitting out on the little patio area behind the back door reading a book. The plants that smell like jello or lollipops are in full bloom and the scent is wafting through the air. When I looked up this was my view. It made me think of you and I thought to myself, don't just think, tell her and thank her again for the wonderful job she did. You heard my wishes, you stayed on budget and you were fast. Your choices for hardscape and landscape were perfect. You are a lovely lady and I enjoyed working with you. My husband and I love the yard. Thank you so much. I hope all is going good for you. We had a new house and dirt "blank slate" for a backyard. For the design process, Christine and Nancy were fabulous to work with and they came up with lots of great ideas to enhance our yard. They were easy to talk to about ideas and had a lot of suggestions regarding hardscape and drought tolerant plantings. Now, six months later we love the look of our yard....great mix of colors, textures, and sound (pond with waterfall) that make our outdoor living fantastic. We really enjoy using our beautiful new built in BBQ with family and friends.

As the managing editor of Outdoor Living Magazine, my standards are very high. My husband and I were delighted by the design work of Remarkable Gardens, Christine Chesney and Nancy Valentine on our backyard hillside patio. They brought in high quality contractors to install our patio and were there every step of the way. The patio exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier. We are doing our yard in sections, and will have Remarkable Gardens start on the next section soon.
