I have had the opportunity to work with Rivendell Landscape Design on several occasions. As a builder it is essential to work with others who care about their design and and workmanship, and are able to stay on schedule while working well with others. Jayson does a great job both in design and managing his projects. We were able to both work together in concert to complete projects in a timely fashion.

Jason Berube (Rivendell Landscape Design) is a wonderfully talented landscape architect. He is also a pleasant and very thoughtful person. My wife and I enjoyed working with him and have given his name to several close friends over the past few years. The work he orchestrated in our backyard far exceeded our expectations. We recommend him highly and without any reservations.

We hired Jason to 'fix the void' caused by removal of several trees in the neighbourhood. We ended up leveling the grade, adding a boulder wall and a patio all working together in a terrace-like flow. New trees and shrubs were planted; Jason added a custom-designed privacy screen to the patio wall to work as a prefect transition between the trees and the house. Specific things that stood out while working with Jason: - Vision. We truly appreciate his 'your outdoor space is just an extension of your living room' message as we could not have imagined the livability of the transformed space. The first summer after the completion of the project we had used the backyard more than in 15 years of owning the house prior to that. - Logic. Jason has an undergraduate degree in engineering and approaches his projects like one. - Clarity. Its all in a spreadsheet – there were no surprises during the 6-month engagement.

As a design and construction professional I’ve had the exciting privilege of working with Rivendell on a number of projects. I value Jason for his refreshing creativity as well as his respect for the entire process. He brings inspired ideas to every project and he has the chops to lead all his designs to successful completion. When Rivendell comes on to the job site I know the finished product is going to look amazing and the space is going to function better than the homeowner ever dreamed. I’ve worked with Jason on large and small projects and I know he’s capable of adapting his designs to the budgets of our clients. Everyone can benefit from his expertise!
