Andy Wright handed me a concept sketch—not a bird’s eye map but a perspective drawing—within an hour of meeting me and my front yard. The challenges included a steep slope, a narrow tunnel-like driveway, rainwater runoff problems and an ugly clash of failing cinderblock, railroad tie, poured concrete and dry stack retaining walls. I needed practical fixes. Andy’s drawing suggested he offered that along with a fix for ugly! I was thoroughly pleased with every subsequent step I entrusted to Andy. He recommended other contractors for some of the work. They turned out to be top-notch. Andy and his own crew were hard-working, friendly, and picky about the details including cleanup. Perfect really. It’s now three growing seasons on since the original installation. The shrubs and plants—recommended by Andy—are thriving. I continue to receive compliments from neighbors and strangers. Before there was little to like between my front door and the street. Now, I love it all. Royal Creations did design, implementation, and supervision on a backyard project that included a deck redesign and reconstruction, an elevated pergola, extensive hardscape walls, two berms and two additional gardens with landscaping, a swimming pool and extensive concrete decking, and metal fencing surrounding the entire back of the property.
