Shades Of Green adds the finishing touch to our projects helping to bring everything together with our architectural design, the landscaping by Shades Of Green, it's a complete project. Working with them on our Atherton new home project starting around 2010 - a one acre lot with complete landscaping work probably valued at around a quarter to a half million dollars. We have completed several smaller projects at each time high standards of quality and creativity were maintained.

We used Shades of Green to renovate our front and backyard. We wanted a very modern, sleek outside space that would be great for entertaining and relaxing. The Shades of Green team developed beautiful designs and we are extremely happy with our pool area and front entryway. They have a lot of knowledge around what types of plants fit the design aesthetic you are looking for, but also work for the climate we live in.

Shades of Green has delivered creative, sustainable landscape designs and gardens that make exceptional use of urban space. We have worked with Shades of Green on our last five residential development projects and they have executed designs reflecting our vision each and every time, with wonderful attention to detail and thoughtful design combining topography, sustainability and seamless integration of indoor and outdoor space. They are a great pleasure to collaborate with, and we look forward to working together on many more projects in the future.

We hired Ive at Shades of Green Landscape Architecture after meeting her on the Marin Dwell Home Tour to help us design our front yard located along a well traveled street. Ive helped us transform a sloping, rocky, unused space into an outdoor living "room" that was functional and fun to spend time in. Retaining walls leveled out our yard and large flax plants provided privacy and screening without violating our city's maximum height, the way a fence would have done. The plantings became more beautiful year after year. Often, first time guests told me how much they loved our home while standing at our front door, before they even set foot inside! Ive and Liana are both so talented and are very generous with their ideas, and provide wise solutions to fit our budget. We've since relocated and have again hired Shades of Green to design on our new front yard.

We have worked several times with Ive and Shades of Green on large scale, high end residential homes and grounds. Ive and her company have been consistently responsive and responsible, easy to work with, and inventive. We look forward to much more work together.
