Claire and Martha are top notch designers. I worked with them on several projects as their garden carpenter. They know who to hire and how to get the job done right. I also remember that they knew how things are built which really made my job as the builder a lot easier and made the overall product better as well. They have a great sense of scale and don't overplant material in their gardens. This ability comes with experience and is hard to master. I truly miss working with them.

As architects, we had an excellent first experience with Shapiro Ryan Design, and look forward to collaborating with them on many future projects. The landscape they created for our Sunrise Vista House (also known as Sand Point house) was thoughtful, original, and a great fit for the clients' aesthetic and functional requirements. This is a first rate company in all respects.
