Studio 342 Landscape Architecture

Thank you Chad for helping us realize our dreams with a reasonable budget! Chad was very patient with us during our long process which started years before we did our renovation by asking us to wait until we finished all structural work even though he knew it meant business would be delayed. He also provided great design suggestions on other hardscape plans we had and now we are thoroughly enjoying those minor tweaks that went a quite a long way! I have had the pleasure of teaming with Chad on a number of projects throughout my career in architecture and I would highly recommend Studio 342. Studio 342 is a small landscape architectue design firm that focuses not only on quality design but, more importantly, listening and interpreting your ideas and realizing them within the established budget. The overall process and outcomes exceeded our expectations for a full landscape remodel with Studio 342. In everything from the RFP stage, initial drawings, revisions, implementation to enjoying our hardscape and softscape, Chad was incredibly professional, clear, prompt and managed our expectations. After researching local landscape designers, we hired Studio 342 to develop a landscape design for our newly constructed home. We were incredibly happy with the results. As ambitious do-it-yourselfers with lots of energy and ideas, we had absolutely no idea of how to bring all those ideas together into a cohesive, contemporary design that would fit our lifestyle and dreams for the perfect outdoor space. After interviewing a few landscape designers, we met with and hired Studio 342 to develop a base plan, master design plan, planting plan and construction details that provided all of the information we needed to implement the project ourselves. The project was ambitious, including: re-grading plan for the front and side yard to allow for installation of grasspave2 to create a hidden driveway and parking area for our 28’ Airstream trailer; raised garden and picnic table area; an outdoor dining area; an outdoor gas fire pit area; an outdoor kitchen design for the existing patio; a full lighting plan; a new path system to tie it all together; integration of concrete and steel elements to meet our design aesthetic; and colorful and low maintenance plants. It’s now a year later and we’ve complete the majority of the project. We love our outdoor space and we could not be any happier with the overall design. Studio 342 did an amazing job of listening and creating a final design that was perfectly aligned with our goals and tastes. They were reliable on their budget and timeline. They produced clear, detailed designs that were easy to follow and implement. And, they provided outstanding support whenever we needed extra help along the way.
