About Us

When design matters. terra firma landscape architecture has been established in Portsmouth, NH and serving the Seacoast New Hampshire, Maine, and southern New England since 1993. We specialize in landscape architectural aspects of site design such as urban gathering spaces and parks, custom residential projects, commercial properties of all kinds, streetscapes as green infrastructure, garden design, playgrounds and schoolyards, and recently memorial design. We believe that landscapes reflect the vison and values of those that inhabit them.

Terra Firma did a terrific job for us on the seacoast of NH. they were responsible for the design, development and implementation of the plan over a 2 year project. the plan include the design and installation of a pool ( near the ocean ) and extensive landscaping and plantings inclining several stone walls, fences and larger trees. Terrence Parker is an outstanding Landscape architect with great vision - who is also very attuned to the desires of his client. We could not be more happy with the outcome of our project, and we would not undertake a similar one without Terrence and Terra Firma's help and guidance!

Terrance approaches his work with a high level of creativity and thoughtfulness. We used him on a big projects a number of years ago and just bought a new house where we plan to use him again. A real pleasure to work with!
